Looking good guys. Nice new layout for the dialogs. Got my pre-order in, looking forward for the beta.

I figured there'd be some pushback on the pricing idea. I'm okay with it, I've had ObjectDock Plus for years and have been getting what I needed out of it. I'll be upgrading, but with a higher expectation for new and amazing features to set it aside as a brand new product rather than an update. The teaser screenshots so far have yet to blow me away, but I have faith in Stardock and I know once I see the program in action I'll be glad I got it. One last thing though, and I hate, hate,
Hey fellas, just got this fix from Curt at Stardock Support. Worked for me, hope it works for you. Try copying the wbocx.ocx file from the Impulse install directory into the SoundPackager one The file I found was called wbocx32.ocx, but worked all the same. Give it a shot, see if it works for you too.
Having issues here too, Windows 7, 64bit. Throws up a couple regsvr32.exe errors while installing, and then once installed the launch fails. Checked in my application log and the faulting module appears to be kernel32.dll. I cleaned it out and reinstalled, but seems the same. I'll keep it installed for now and keep an eye out for an update.

I neglected to reboot between uninstalling Windowblinds 5 and installing 6, ended up with 6 prompting me to reboot every time I loaded it. So I uninstalled 6, rebooted, installed, rebooted, and it loaded but wouldn't apply skins. SO now I've uninstalled 6, rebooted, I'm installing 5 now, and will start the whole process over again, properly this time. 6 Looks sweet, guys. I can't wait to get er going
Skurtle? //got nothin
Can't be gone.. I think they're working on a new suite. Though I would so die for an update to the PixOS suite with new WB5 features
Looks great, but in practice, it's slower than ever I installed 5308 yesterday, and it borders on unusable. Gotta tweak some things yet, of course, but it's not a great start. I sure hope they tighten it up by RTM time. I read this one article that was all 'no more artifacts on the desktop and blank windows thanks to the new engine!', though now it's just
that's how I always envisioned natural desktop. I'd love rain, snow and fog on the entire screen. One thing I've always wanted was a single photorealistic wallpaper that gradually went from night to day and changed seasons and everything. Natural Desktop is a great start, but that kinda evolution to the concept would be awesome
Yeah a regular customizes systray icon is a static image - but if it's large enough you can show the program's actual icon in the corner of the custom one. Also, I know there's docklets out there for messenger that do change depending on your status.
tie the feature into the database at WC and you'll have all your keywords set up already. Possibly even suggest a skin for download along with the the matches that already exist on your system
probably meant alt-tab. Man I can't wait for the new WindowsFX What I'd like to see is a GUI to easily create your own transitions, like the direction, amount of fade, shrink, and speed. Like Swish effects. Taskbar previes look wicked too. Bwaha!
I'm on my third Radeon (first was a 7500, then 9200SE, now 9600 AIW) and still see the cards as great workhorses. I don't have major problems when I come across a 'made for nVidia' game, but the whole idea that you can't get 100% compatibility without buying a card from each manufacturer kinda irks me. What is this, the 90s era browser wars?
The backwards episode. So awesome.
I, er, 'second' the second monitor idea
it's so interesting seeing stardock's top guns watching this too. here's hoping it works out and jark gets his DA back
aaaaah and I bought it.
getting iconX compatible with wallpaper switching would rule. What would be even cooler is somehow getting it to run in explorer windows, so all your icons can do cool scaling deal things.
awesome. it's always something little like this that makes me extra glad I renewed my OD supscription
this is so awesome
GTA made them do it, I just know it
a lot of the software I've pirated over the years, I -would- buy... if it were affordable. I am glad for my Object Desktop subscription, though. Stardock rules, so they can have some of my hard earned dollars.

I'm running Linspire out of curiosity, and really enjoy it so far. It's great for a casual user, and can definitely replace windows for soccer moms the world over. As for myself, I still haven't figured out how to manually download, unpack and install programs, nor have I made sense out of the file system or command line console. Might have to do with the fact that I was brought up on DOS and can clearly visualize -what- I'm doing in windows. The selec
