The post was made on sunday... so tonight or tomorrow night would be as late as it can be for 'a week'. Unless like Dangeruss mentioned, they meant NEXT week. Now that would be torture o.o And then again, there's going to be a ton of us downloading this thing the second it's put out. Watch, we'll crash all the fancy new server stuff and cause another shutdown of the site

I know when I'm showing off my desktop to a friend I blab on and on like some kind of tv answer guy. I'd love to see how the pros approach their desktop environment I just hope it goes streaming. Waiting forever to download that WindowFX 2 video was hardly worth it. Of course, streaming would mean yet another server upgrade and $$$ to make it happen.
Right clicking on Tablauncher will bring up a menu. Click properties and it's all there it's set up more or less like Control Center's options dialog. You can add, remove, rename and reorder your tabs in there. Sometimes it goes buggy and throws your shortcuts on the wrong tab when you do that though. You can also turn off the titlebar, set it to autohide, and choose a hotspot to pop it up. I like to disabl
'Tog, 'Russ, and er... 'Xandrie...? No more shortening names for me. Bad me. Bad. That's mostly based around Windowblinds skinning, which is the most important to me, since the blinds always come first when I'm putting a new look on my desktop. I hafta give kudos to Mormegil though. The Fausx-Xp icons come in enough color variations that I can keep the sexy sexy look no matter what colors I'm using elsewhere <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/
I have a 17" set to 1280x1024 and a 15" set to 1024x768. Sadly, there isn't all too much support for multiple monitors in some of Stardock's apps. DesktopX for example yells at me when I put stuff 'outside' of the area it deems to be my desktop. BandVWM on the other hand works perfectly, making each 'virtual desktop' the size of both screens together
actually, it skins the log -off- screens, the little blue dialogs that pop up when you choose log off or shutdown from the start menu. Course, they only appear if you have the logon screen enabled, which means they're definitely related. I just hope the stupid 'please wait' box gets skinned, or hit by a truck, or something.
Soon as I get my credit card, yeah baby this is what I'm using it on Stardock most definitely deserves my hard earned cash, ESPECIALLY with the way DesktopX 2 is looking. mmmmm
As cool as it looks, and as neat as the features are, it makes the grave mistake of um... not being able to play half my mp3 files. Maybe they were encoded 'wrong' or something. But winamp played em fine all along, and I'm not going to convert them into wma just so I can play them in this thing. Grr
Objectbar + Objectdock = everything you need. Dock is just a dock. Use Objectbar for your start menu, systray and all that. Anyway I still love it. The auto hide is nice and smooth Next version I know we'll see a fix to the logoff bug so I'm not too concerned. Hope to see it sticky on Control Center's BandVWM soon...
So that's who's to blame for the XP Logoff bug I picked up . I installed so much stuff in the last 24 hours I had no idea where to look. Hope it gets fixed soon because I am LOVING the program
Next release, let's be able to undock the dock resize, set it up in multiple rows, float it with an overall transparency value Co
You might already have 1.5, Monkey. It's been on OD for a while. Awesome program as always. I like having a desktop menu that doesn't take half a minute to pop up. My big request for new features would be support for multiple monitors. If I have the monitor on the right side set as primary, the left one has 'negative' desktop coordinates (the top left corner is -800, 0). Any bars, menus or windows that try to open there get bumped over to 0,0 by Objectbar. Sometimes it'll work fine for
Okay, I totally love Object Desktop. Every bit of it is awesome and useful, and I run pretty much every app in some form or another on a constant basis. Then one day I had my task manager open (for a completely different reason, of course, since OD stuff just doesn't crash ) and as I looked at my processes I noticed something... Objectbar was using somewhere around 57-60 MEGS of ram! I r
I love it, and it hasn't given me any problems other than the occasional nameless error that any app will come up with now and then (if I ever find a voodoo3 driver for xp that works...) I would definitely love to see Objectdock made Iconpackager compatible/aware, be able to dock it elsewhere, and be able to group taskbar entries. And since Stardock is one of those awesome companies that LISTENS to their users <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigsmile.gif" bo
I've been running it nearly 24 hours now with no problems whatsoever. once you get used to the new media library / playlist it won't be as scary. Some of the features we got previews of during the betas and RCs aren't in the final yet, but with good reason. Nullsoft was given a deadline to have the final out by. So everything that's not uber important is being saved for later releases. I'm sure they would have been happy to keep tinkering in betas if it weren't for that. But for a .0 ve
