Do you happen to know what you were doing when this happened? Also, if you hit the break button it will send a crash report to Ironclad with the log, but it will also close the game.
I am sure we will be able to make fleet groups in the final version like we used to be able to do in Original Sins. When I first got in on the tech preview, I was able to rename, Capital Ships and Planets, but after an update, I cant anymore. So I am sure these things will come back. I like to make specialized fleets as well. Or making support fleets when I need to send in torpedo cruisers or seige frigates, instead of having them in my m
We're going to be doing a pass on spatial data for each unit which will fix some of the clustering you're seeing.
I tried the component for additional hangars. I think it hits what I was wanting. Thank you!
Glad to hear it! Being able to further personalize the capital ships through the component system has been pretty rewarding during my own playthroughs, though all the more painful when you lose a ship that is high level AND has components!
When you add components is it visualized?
Not currently. I meant beefy in stats and performance.
Thanks for the feedback! Have you looked at adding hangar components to your Sova carriers? They can get pretty beefy.
Thanks I had more time to play and put about ~4(6.5 current save) hours into a 2vs2. I ended up figuring out the garrison issue and most of what else was going on so far. Definitely a fan of the new engine, I can see a lot of potential here. It is really satisfying to have those masses of units and large scale fleet battles without the hitching and chugging from the first game, it makes an incredible difference. That said, wow garrison po
I've had a chance to try out the technical alpha. It plays really smoothly and the bones of the Sins is very noticeable for the beginning of development. I like some of the new ideas like Garrisons generated by controlled systems you develop, although I'm still trying to figure out how to make them work, only my home planet seemed to produce a garrison despite me having factories in other systems and advancing the garrison supply tech.<br
I think this qualifies as having a problem
The only problem I have is the fleet cap limit. Moar Kols!
Otherwise could'nt a player play whack a mole with his capital planet and always place it in the best defensive position? I don't have the game so ignore if it's a stupid question.
Hopefully this answers your question. These are the settings right now:
Can you provide a save file from the game you're experiencing this issue? Save files can be found in: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\sins2_pre_alpha\saved_games
So I focus on a capitol ship with the mouse cursor pointing directly on it. I zoom in and out and rotate around the capitol ship and it crashes. The crash happens both when I am following the ship in phase jumps and while in combat, but doesn't seem to happen jut following without enemies around.
Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce this issue myself. Give Shotforce's recommendation a shot and let us know.
Hey Michael thanks for the save file. I loaded up the save and had the fleet jump but wasn't able to reproduce the crash. Can you think of anything else you might be doing that could help nail down why a crash is happening? Are you zooming into a specific ship? Are you looking at a specific thing when you're focused in? Any other actions you're doing at the moment of crash?
Saves are now being stored in "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\sins2_pre_alpha\saved_games"
Can you get the save file for where you're crashing? We can try loading it up and seeing if we crash as well. Might be specific to hardware, your save would give us a jumping off point to test.
There is an update out today, can you make sure you have that update and then test this again?
Quoting Yarlen, reply 2 I cannot - that's generated by the materials in use and the light sources in the game. Though I'm not 100% sure what you're referring to? Any bright lit parts are windows. Not windows. I mean bright lines in the highli
Sins2 doesn't have that kind of gravity simulation in the game at this time.

Exotics go into the global inventory of the match. One refinery is enough to start, but more is better.
Managing the upkeep level of newly acquired planets is critical to getting your economy to take off. You have to be out of the hole a new colony puts in your income before it will start making you money, so it's important to upgrade those levels quickly.
What was the DLL error you received? How did you attempt to fix it?
Welcome to the team, Ramma! We're excited to have you!
You can change the settings file manually with notepad or something similar. Navigate to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\sins2_pre_alpha\settings Open the settings.json file with notepad and change line 27 and 28 to the following: "dpi.dpi_scale_factor": 1.0, "dpi.use_os_dpi": true,
