Hey Rammstein41, so you've got the entire fleet at the edge of the gravity well entirely and they're refusing to jump? If you could provide a game save with that issue happening, we could probably sus out the bug.

Taking my developer hat off for a moment to speak as a member of community, moving away from phase lanes would be a pretty drastic change for the game. Stellaris started out with jump ranges as an option and eventually had to move to lanes and nodes as well. It's really hard to get that right and the game has to be designed for it at a fundamental level. Thanks for the feedback! As with everything else in the game right now, the AI is still work in progress. We'll be interested to see what you think about improvements as development progresses and more gameplay and features are added in. :)

The research screen literally has a pink space pony with a hard hat on and the words "Under Construction". How more clearly can we say it's nowhere near the final look of the menu? There is a lot more to do for this game to be complete, we've communicated that at every opportunity. We've got our heads down doing that work.
