Two other issues. When two ship are on top of each other the interface for creating a fleet covers up information like ship range and movement left. One can't set AI intelligence and AI game boosts independent of each other. Either of those been fixed in any way?

I downloaded and have been playing the demo of civgal 2. But I found some problems with it. I know stuff is generally fixed and upgraded from demos, especially I suppose with this game since I hear they give more after purchase patches then most. Here are a few issues I found playing. Please tell me if they have been addressed in the full & fully patched version of the game. Techs: It would be really handy to be able to see how much tech points each technology costs & how

I wasn't sure where to put this, couldn't find any listed mods to email or PM or something. I want to change my listed email address. But when I click on "my account" then on any tab other then the default one with your name and address it asks for my email/password again. And no matter how many times you enter it, nothing happens. The lines just go blank again. Can anyone help me or tell me who is best to contact for help of this nature? [Message Edited]

A option to negotiate peace between two different AI's. You can take each sides complaints to the other provide suggestions yourself. Drawing up peace proposal. Like each side would have a list of things they want. You would check the box of each request on either side. Plus there could be a few miscellaneous options that you could throw in there. This would be your peace proposal. You would take it to each side in an attempt to get them to accept it. If they turn it down they will

Fleet command ability. Allows you to combines a number of smaller ships into a fleet. How many ships are in a fleet and how well there might is combined will depend on how physically big the ships are and your skill in fleet commanding. Like X amount of ships of X size could combine depending on your fleet handling ability. There attack/defense would be added together with a minus percentage out of the total combo which would also depend on your fleet handling ability. Certain technolo

http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=71535 You keep saying WILL this and that. Are you saying that because you know those changes/fixes will be affected or because your commanding them through your insistence that they do? And.. oh man i noticed a number of major mix up typos in the first post. I was kinda tired when I wrote it. I sure wish we could edit our own posts. I must say though its nice quote and monitor thread have been added. Hmm after posting this I notice

Well still they get ALOT more profit I bet by us buying direct. They should be willing to share some of those savings with us instead of charging us more then it costs in retail. Bandwidth can cost but not as much as the manuals boxs distributor and retail cuts of profits from there bottom line. Anyways if bandwidth cost then they shouldnt charge $5&h to send the cd directly. Especially considering its really not that expensive to send a CD. There light weight and can be sent by US mail

Whats RTS and TBS stand for? As far as the rest...I understand what your saying. I know for example with Hereos of might and magic 3. A turn based game. There were rooms of people who played each other on a regular bases. Even finished games sometimes. With a small map and allowing people to set up there turn while waiting It shouldn't require that much time playing. But I suppose your trying to say that a really fun game would be big and to really have fun its nice

Turn based itself isn't good for multiplayer? You mean because of the time it takes for everyone to take there turns? Like I suggested, we could allow players to make changes while waiting for there turn. Movement of ships and such because it means conflict can be planned out but not executed. So when your turn comes around you can hit a button and said ships would travel there assigned path.

I like hotcoffedude's idea. To be able to choose whether opponents can go by you affecting relations. You set your ships to allow or not allow this or that race to go by.(no need for them to be "pack bros/sis" or something) Those races forbidden to go by would have to attack and declare war if they really want to pass. Those races your not allowing to pass slowly getting pissed at you. As far as build up at the borders.. The AI could work where some build up makes t

I liked defending the weakest civilizations from the other ones. Sometimes one would force me to beat it to nothing till it begged for mercy then id protect it as it recovered.(If it betrayed me enough id just wipe it out) Not because it was strategically significant but because it was fun. It added challenge to carry a weaker nonaggressive civilization along with you to the win. Another thing I liked to do is load transports with good defenses with attack heavy/defense light marines an

Glancing through the forum I could only find a few references to it. Most seem to treat the idea with disdain. Like allowing more players to play at once could be a bad/evil thing that could destroy the game. Ok so i exaggerate. But so do some of you. I dont see how adding a multiplayer option to the game over online or hotseat style would have any negative repercussions to single player playing. Anyone wish to debate this? I think it could add value to the game. Players could

Considering different campaign/stratagy games. Looking down a very long list of reviews of different games I found this one. It didn't have the highest overal ratings compared to other games but the descriptions given intreged me. AI really is at the heart of games like this and its good to see a game that gives it fair attention. Also someone in a review said
This game has a hugh fan base, a very strong com
