I want Multiplayer, lan, and internet formats, i will pay the cost of the game again for it.
Halfway through this guys "Major Problem", i recognized his point, as someone who came onboard at the last second, and is comparing a good game to Moo2. 1: I would like to see Tactical combat as well, maybe it will be that way in the future. I Love the Game, one aspect i dont like is that you see your rulers face when you first start the game, but dont see your rulers face through out the rest of the game. I wouldnt mind a Governor's window in the Planet Screen, or the Politics screen, or something that shows your Rulers Face. Or Maybe sometype pf Random event, during elections.
I for one, would like to see a playable barbaric female race.... like the elerins ... hehe
I usually do not post on websites, but i always read them , but let me say congrats to everyone involved in the developement of the product. They Developed a really nice game, and have restored my faith in this genre. i can look fondly back on Moo2, and put the game away , and immerse myself in the universe that is Galciv. Pentium 4 2.8G Nvidia Gforce video card with 32mb Ram 40G hard drive Windows XP Installed the Game and worked at first. Went into Options, and turned up anti aliasing, and has not worked since. When i start the game it goes to the blackscreen, and doesnt come out. won't even Crash back to Desktop. I uninstalled the game, and installed it again, and the problem still persists.
Oh well. Keep the game comin. I hope you can work multiplayer in at a future date. Cause i loved that feature in games like Birth of the Federtation, a game which she and i still play today.
Point1: I don't know how this idea would be played out in developement ...... but how about an open slot in the Race Pick screen. An Open slot that allows a User to Import Favorite Pictures, to Name, and depict his own race. I For one Liked the Elerians from Moo2 ( i know , I know , you dont have to say it. ) , But this is what i do with Galciv 1, I replace all the Alexian ( minor Race ) Pictures with pictures of the Elerians. This is correct, i have replaced the minor race pics with Moo3 race pics, makes me happy !!! just change the pcx file, and make sure the color pallete is 256 colors.

Look fellas, i am sorry for causing such a stir. I agree with you guys that we are getting pretty good support. It's just frustrating to see a good thing get changed around. Keep in mind you guys are playing with the latest update. I am not. I am steaming to see how they update the tech screen , you guys have you're answer. I am just going to wait. GALCIV is a cool game. O.K., i apologize, let me explain in more detail. 1: I set up Star dock. I get an error message saying my serial number is not valid. ( i bought it in the store.) 2: I tryed again, and I recieved an error message saying my account was not validated, do you wish to Have a validatiopn e-mail sent to you? i said yes. 3: I recieved none. I tried it again, it still doesn't work !!!! says it need to validate my account, and it needs to e-mail me a validation, and then i don't get anything in the e-mail !!!!! aaarrggghh!!! why'd they have to mess up a good thing !!!

Thanks, Thats ok, i have already given up. That whole stardock central set up is a Flop. Tried everything i could think of. With both of my e-mail addresses, i know my serial number ( cd-key?) works cause it worked at first, and on 1.02, but star dock refuses it. I will just play without the new expansion. If their heads swell up anymore they are gonna start charging for each expansion.....
Having a problem guys, and i am really getting angry. The game won't allow me acces to stardock central, it keeps rejecting my registration number ( my cd-key?) getting heated hear. they had a good thing going and now we gotta deal with another website for upgrades? That sucks
I would like to explore those options myself.
