Is anyone else seeing that loading the game from steam takes longer than Epic? Now I am talking about 1-2 seconds to load in Epic versus 30 seconds on Steam, so in the grand scheme negligible. However, just wondered if there is a reason or if anyone else is noticing this?

First off if this is nothing more than Sins 1 using 64 bit architect I'll be happy, and I'll buy all the expansions. This is a great game. However, I feel like their are severe limits to how the game can be played at this point (yes were still in alpha). With the orbiting planets we do crash into another players system, but we don't have a strategy specific to when that happens. For instance if I see that I'm about to get phase locked to an enemy star system I pull

A few thoughts and notes. I'm sure your aware of the bad pathing and bunching up of ships when they rally either to a point in space or to a fleet group. They cluster together and can't fire because they can't move or turn. With respect to abilities that affect other ships, such as the shield recharge on the titan for the loyalists, the titan stays too far away from the other ships for it's abilities to affect them. That goes for other capitol ships as well that ha

Just a few responses from your questions: All setting are normal and I've tried with and without orbiting planets. 1. I use a Sova to start off, 1x colony, 8x cobalts and take over my solar system with that 2. Max out commerce on each planet and start mining planet upgrade 3. Build a research station and get the planet research so I can colonize ice and volcanic 4a. Upgrade military research so I can increase supply to 1000 and start building cobalts en

I prefer a challenge, but man at impossible with 5 AI they good! I like the fact that I'm struggling to even get a start on this diff as most games at highest diff are way too easy (StarCraft). I never build defense turrets so maybe that part of why they overwhelm me. I ended up playing a few games on nightmare and destroying all five AI, but it was a back and forth for a while. They are getting smart attacking my planets when my fleet is gone. Looks li

Has anyone played on the largest map with all AI on impossible difficulty with no teams? I am curious if anyone else is just getting killed time and again. I have played 20+ matches with the AI and I can't get past my own ~5 planet solar system before the AI comes and kills me. I have tried to max out garrison on my home planet and research increased garrison count (but not up to heavy factory research option). At one point I had 30-40 light frigates, one Marza, and

I know there are wormholes as traversable gravity wells in sins1, but I think they could make an appearance in another manner in sins 2. Either as random events that connect two or more planets or as tech that can be researched. The tech would maybe create a wormhole in the target gravity well and then a random one elsewhere connecting distances gravity wells. Or possibly created at the end of one phase lane so that when ships jump to the gravity well they end up going thr
