What I would like to see is a way to adjust the speed "on the fly" in the middle of a game. That way you could play on a faster speed at the beginning and slow it down as your empire got bigger (maybe something like in Europa Universalis). Also, I may be missing something but is there a way to pause a single-player game?

Keep in mind that the bonus is +25% of the BASE production, i.e.: base 100 +25% from item A +25% from item B correct: 25% + 25% = 50%, 100*(150%) = 150 incorrect: 100*(125%) = 125, then 125*(125%) ~ 156 You probably have another bonus that you've forgotten about (happens to me all the time). Make sure you check for both production and military production bonuses as well. Hope that helped.
