I have helped gef on a few occasions on his latest DX themes scripting wise and I wouldn't mind helping any way I can. Actually, I modified your dock object Martin, to suit gef's needs, so I'm able to modify an existing script, but i'm not sure I could build one from the ground up. But I agree with the fact DX is underused and it is a great program.

I just read something interesting on Neowin: http://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=19692&category=main According to the article + screenshots, this new DWM (Desktop Windows Manager, lately renamed from DCE) acts a LOT like windows FX. I wonder if Stardock has helped MS on this or is it yet again MS taking somebody else's idea and touting it theirs...

For WB skins, it doesn''t make much difference. But for DesktopX, it''s all at the discretion of the skinner and the way the theme is designed. Some DX theme designs support multi resolution, but most aren''t. Edit: 2 ways of saying the same thing [Message Edited]

Just an idea. How about a popular vote? It would have no impact on the final decision, but just to see what the masses would have chosen. Something simple like the poll's format on WC would be enough... (a box to click and then press vote, and only 1 vote per person)

There are a few problems with version 2.1 of DX. Mainly, it doesn't load objects in a theme properly, i.e. missing objects among other things. It's been discussed here: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=255945 It's really annoying and as such, I don't use DX anymore while waiting for a new version to come out. I wanted to know it if was possible to have version 2.0 available to download somewhere. When using SDC, the only version available is 2.1 (either by ha

I third that. I've had exactly what gef described happening to me. It's really annoying to have to reload a theme everytime you start DX because it doesn't load properly the first time. And I've had the problem of Tiggz when for example, I change the property of a object from 'normal' to 'always on top', it sometimes the object altogether on reload... weird. Oh, latest version (beta) of DX installed here... Edit: There was an update a few days ago (a new beta), but t

Here in Montreal, on cable that test showed: 2331 kbps I don't know exactly how it translate into kb/s, tho as I frequently download at speeds between 450 kb/s and 500 kb/s as my connection is rated at 4 Mbps (upload is capped at 80 kb/s). Someone mentioned price: 60 bucks canadian/month (unlimited upload and download)

Nope, i'm a level 3 too. You can see the ratings, but you can't rate. There was a thread on this not too long ago and i'm not sure exactly what the qualifications are to be able to rate but you have to be an apprentice or above to rate IIRC, but I could be wrong.

IIRC, IE stores the favicons in the temporary inter files folder. So if you set your history for say.. 30 days, the favicon will dissapear then. FAVORG keeps the icons somewhere else, so they stay as long as you dont reformat your computer, or uninstall the program. Gee, I sound like a salesman
