A-ha! I knew it was a skin site.. thanx everyone!
Jachyra
Is that it? I thought it was an abbreviation for another skin site... if not, my bad
Recently in the much publicized feud going on in the messageboard with a few individuals leaving for Deviantart, Frogboy mentioned a few sites in the skinning community he liked. DA for Deviantart, a few others and also LOS. What does it stand for? edit.. typo [Message Edited]
Well, Component manager is being phased out, use Stardock Central instead
Hmm... people exagerate a little bit about the heat generated by the AMD cpus I have an AMD Athlon 1800, never had any prob. Used to have a celeron, but it was way too slow.
I can answer number 3 since I bought the product recently. Yes, you can download it immediately after buying online...
Being a lover of blue in Themes/WB/DX, I'm really anxious to download this
I assume you speak french as your first language Sylvain (and so do I) but BigT is right, I can't understand what you mean, even if I try to translate it.
For some computers setup, you need to hit alt + printscreen, then paste it in an image editor.
I tried about 10 of them. And you're right, most of them had a cpu monitor built into it. I use the blank DX theme between each load, and the same thing happens anyway. I'm a little lost here. It's a shame really, because many DX theme are pure gems, some from 2001 and 2002. Edit: I can see the 100% CPU usage from the process viewer from WinXP, not from the theme CPU monitor... I'm using WinXP + DX 1.95b The problem: CPU = 100% I've been reading about 10 pages of the messageboard and a few ppl do have problems with DX, but nothing relating to CPU usage. I'm wondering if it's a known bug on certain systems or the beta version. If not, should I use the version 1.3 instead ? It's worth mentioning that 100% CPU doesn't happen with any other Stardock app, or any apps for that matter. Thanks in advance.
From someone who recently bumped into the d/l limit, I can tell you that it IS 50 megs. I've purchased OD since then (read: last night), so now I'm unlimited Been meaning to buy the suite anyway, so it just gave me the lil push I needed to do so
Ok, now I feel stupid. I spend so much time everyday on Excel here at the office and I didn't even see the 'format' section in Sysmetrix, let alone the fact it uses the same kind of formats as Excel. Sheesh! Thanks werewolf
Thanks werewolf. I already saw the 'divide by' item in the textual information, but after using it, it leaves many decimals... I wondered if there were any items in the *.ini file, for example, that could change that. Guess not
The sysmetrix theme i'm using right now has values for TCP in and TCP out in what appears to be bytes. Is there a way to change those values so they would show as, say, kbytes or Megs ? Thanks in advance.
