I agree with this line of reasoning. I observe few people like feeling bullied or coerced, and are more likely to be altruistic or at least pro-social if they believe they are giving freely. As for the topic, manufacturing as a proportion of the econo
This is most relevant as Vasari Exodus, but when you've got ships with deployable phase gates and starbases, it's rather inconvenient to cycle through a dozen capital ships to find the one with the item you want. It would be great to have a shared menu that lists out the deployable items in the fleet.
There is a capital ship and starbase manager you can use to ma

I don't know how interpretable the data is for Ashes of the Singularity. Wasn't that game given away for free with graphics cards back in 2016?
There is no left click hold alt. Its alt - right click
You knew what I meant. The tooltip says right click hold alt. But you agree it is alt right click. I.e. the tooltip is wrong. And right click then hold alt does nothing.
There are a couple of issues with the strings I have noticed, But left click and then hold alt is the most egregious.
Binding shift to hotkeys doesn't work as intended I believe. Shift is hardcoded to queue, so binding something to shift key combination will queue the action after the current order. Use with caution.
Can players edit variant rules in game setup? Such as: No titans? No superweapons? No special system (TEC Trade, Vasari phase, Advent culture)? Frigates and Cruisers only? Etc.

Planetary Annihilation did this well with its 3D printed models.
Save games seem to be version dependent. They will stay in file explorer but "disappear" from the game menu.
Hull - has the Crippled State , which is a unique mechanic applying to Capital Ships and Titans. These powerful ships are not destroyed at 0 Hull Points; instead entering the Crippled State with a secondary hull point pool which is a percentage of primary hull point pool (currently 100% for capital ships and 50% for titans). While in this state, the unit can still move and regenerate its various types of Effective Health p
UI needs work - you shouldn't have to scroll on, for example, the research screen to navigate it. There's far too much empty space and not enough used space.
As far as Epic and Steam, I think they already said the final version will be available on Steam so if you wait, you can get it. Only the technical Preview is on Epic.
Gal Civ 4 entered early access on EGS in June 2021 (more than 12 months ago). I believe the 12 month exclusivity deal period begins at full release, not when the game enters early access.
Storming Kiwi, this studio always distributes a "pre-alpha/test" version of it's software, at a discount, to the public for testing, to see how it performs "in the wild", so to speak. When building software for public sale, you never know how a program is going to run on the COMPLETELY RANDOM hardware configurations people have. That's part of the purpose of this test. In return for you trying it
I don't understand this topic. Demos are usually distributed to potential customers for free - try before you buy. This is being sold as a product. If it is ready for customers to spend money on, then it is ready for those customers to talk to each other about whether in their opinion, the product is worth purchasing. Policing customer's reviews and feedback isn't going to do anyone, or the product quality, any good.
wow... People still moaning about this Epic thing. We are not talking about xbox vs Playstation here, where you need to invest in a whole new console, controllers, etc, both launchers run on PC. I guess we wouldn't be human if we didn't find something to moan about.
Exactly. So distribute it on both stores at the same time.
Outside of that disclaimer I know the team has been talking about what to do if you lose your initial free capital ship. At the very least I know we need a warning "Your capital ship is taking heavy damage" so that you can have an opportunity to pull it out of battle before it died if you rushed into somewhere dangerous and weren't paying attention. Beyond that, I'm not sure what the solution for an early capital ship loss will be. At
More character/lore for minor factions would be good. The rest wouldn't be. Minor factions should remain minor.
Of course feedback can be provided on art style from screenshots, and before release is absolutely the best time to provide that feedback. I am not at all excited about this change.
I hope the unit balance of the capital ships has been updated for the sequel. The Kol was the worst offender.
