it seemed to fix itself with one of the big updates. I would try the test update, maybe search around in the net and ask in discord as it is a lot more lively then here.
TRUE-Magus
its all good. I am just glad that it seems to not be happening anymore at least for me and it stays that way. That update sure has changed some things lol. Impossible AI can't get a titan out at the 55 min mark like it always use to. Have you tried the early access to the update yet? Just wondering if it went away for you or not in that case.
that's kind of odd. You can counter it like any other missiles, can't you? I get it that its the marza's lvl6 ability. Was hoping for a reason not to take marza with the current builds if some maps it would be unfavorable. Good to know though it won't be effected by this effect.
I have been playing on the early access build and I don't get that bug on several start to finish match's. But the surrender crash is still 100% present.
I get this error too. It happens in late game when there is a lot of things gong on, seeing its on a large map with 9 other ai's. Its happened at many different times and actions at that point. You can ignore it and continue to play but some odd things occur, like the resetting advent points into its psy abilities. Its never happened till this last big patch.
Ya, I notice that too. The easy solution to this is just make the planet un-targetable, if the AI targets the planet, like in a if statement with planetary shielding, just have it switch to target any star-base in the area. Its not the best solution but the most easy I would think.
Meanwhile I easily win a random faction1v9 impossible AI, daily. Its a matter of composition, cap levels, titans ect. A lot goes into how the final battles play out.
Rather then clicking, did you try just letting the capital ship auto collect it? When there is no combat and they can freely engage they will wander to collect them on their own. Though I am not sure in this case so that's why I am asking. But the click box's for large targets are pretty large and overlapping, same with titans and starbases. Its a challenge some times to click on something right by them.
naw, its what they want to do. Its what that specific faction does. They take what they can get and they move on. Its not "unreasonable", its literally a core part of their behavior. Is it smart of them? Maybe or maybe not, but it is what it is and they did get a lot of resources for it.
You just created this "unnecessary effort" though. Its not hard to know what numbers mean. All caps have different types of outputs on their type of weapon systems. Its a very good tool to determine what kind of role they can fill and how they would perform across varied encounters. Its just like in real life, are there only one specific type of missiles like ever? Further more, guns have positions on the ship, not all, if ever, will hit the same target. PD shoot everywhere and has multiple t
oddly, the Marza missile barrage was nurfed pre-release. That being said, the ship was hit by the majority of the missiles? That means it was vary close, only like 1 missile per volley per target is launched but that ability is busted though. You can 100% to zero any cap if there is like 10+ targets and that capital is between the Marza and those targets cause it will "block" those missiles. I agree on Vengeance, its pretty lack luster too imo and pretty weak. It
I agree with that one. Oddly, its the main reason I save every few minutes.
So your deciding factor in playing a game if it has/has not some vibrant neon colors? That's interesting.
AI is never easy, particularly in an RTS. They need a lot more improvements from the EA but has been said they have done so for release. I hope that a full teamed up 1v10 on the hardest settings can (and should) be too much to handle in most games but right now I can win that "impossible" conflict fairly easy.
Is Sins released yet? Look at its release date and compare it to the current date.
There is a lot of threads asking about this and the devs have said they are looking into it. So far, if it does happen, it will be just the base game for the steam version. So nothing yet. This is just my speculation but I feel the devs think its a sure thing BUT it be silly to say it without not knowing 100% themselves cause it be a real rug pull to say yes and then unable to deliver. Check steam forums for sins2 for more of its discussion but otherwise we should know in the co
eh? this has happened for many titles in the past and ironclad has done it it as well before. It will probably happen but you never know for sure so its not like they want to make any promises till they are sure themselves.
this - wait tell the actual release. They have not done any beta testing updates for months.
sorry, I will be too busy playing the game to watch.
is your user name a nod to David Eddings? I am too a fan of his work. Also, will keep my eyes peeled for any updates pertaining to if any keys to early supporters are given. Looks great, will take a few days off on its release date.
well, sins 2 is starting off where sins 1 ended, not sure if you played the first sins on its release and experienced its progress over the years/expansions. The devs already said they want to make more content/expansions after sins 2 release. Also the game of course looks like sins1 but it functions very different in many aspects vs 1 so to say its a remastered is not the case.
ah....they do? Every time I come across them they are loaded with things. I guess that depends on the difficulty you play on..
Caps are stronger then ever actually compared to sins 1 with being able to buy them limited use items, like haul repair. Sins2 Have not had an update in AGES :( so assuming nothing have changed in the AI, I can say I still can take any race, go solo 1v3v3v3 in impossible settings and win just fine only building caps. Building choke points for defense's is of course important while utilizing when and where to strike. But for the three races, the Vasari is the best at getting them out ear
Just thought I would add that currently on 23H2 and it runs. The update 24H2 has not been offered yet in my case and will be swiftly avoided. Was this 24H2 an insider offer for early update before going pubic cause I don't see it otherwise yet.
They do have a cap. It might not feel like they don't but keep in mind they probably have like 10 planets pumping out ships 24/7
