My game just hung there. I did follow EVERY step from the Stardock help page, including updating the Microsoft redistributals, C++ or something like that. Some of their help links were a bit out of date but you get the hang of it if you follow their steps. I just right clicked and chose "Create Shortcut" on the .exe file. Since it was Windows 11, you will have to right click and choose "More Options" before that is visible.

I am unable to use the Steam created icon to launch sins of a solar empire 2 in Windows 11. It typically loads the stardock launcher. Steam states the game is running but 20-30 minutes can pass and nothing will happen. I can, however, launch them from the direct links in the folder. If anyone else has this problem here is the fix. Go to the following: program files (x86) / Steam / Steamapps / common / Sins2 and look for either: sin
