Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates.
Not a good idea. I violently suggest that a forum or 'sticky' post be created titled "Resolved Issues" and the community can simply have one central location for all this.
I can to - I should have said the non-function slider has no effect on the sound. It seems you are just moving the slider with no 'active' sound playing because when sound is actually playing you will see dynamic bars filling the icon. This is getting silly because the point is there should NOT even be 2 slider instances!
In my case only one functions. The slider icon with the blue border does not ... Also , if I adjust the deskscapes slider to a desired volume it stays at that setting for the current background. Once the next background starts the deskscapes slider moves to the sames position as the speakers slider. [e digicons]>:([/e]
Perhaps, you can mute the Deskscape's audio. (Windows 10). I believe Windows 11 have similar control setting. ...
This seems to be acceptable for now ... However , in the Volume Mixer, mine displays 2 instances of Deskcapes sliders. I did a reset to Microsoft defaults but the second instance remains. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] <img src="https://c
I take it that this annoying Deskscape obstacle course to mute the playlist is coded to be done in this way?!? [e digicons]>:([/e]
I use animation/video playlists with music/sound. At times I wish to mute the sound. The only way I know how to do this is to use the mouse to navigate to settings menu and mute there. This does not work unless I deactivate the current playlist by starting a different one, and then restarting the original. If there is a quicker/simpler process please let me know. Ideally, a hotkey would be priceless. Actually hotkeys can perform many annoying mouse-navigation functions, 'pause' comes quickly
ok - thank you
Hi - My primary pc is W10. Due to MS end of W10 support I bought a mini-pc with W11 Pro strictly for online and connected hdmi output port to an A/B switch to use same monitor. I would like to know how to use Deskscapes when I am using the mini. Attached is an image of my product info if it helps with the answer. -thank you <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/75/8/7508304/de2041dd-2a4a-467b-8069-d5763f15c98d.png" alt="Product" width="831" height="32
thank you
Hello - The recent Stardock technical problems required me to create a new account. Apparently some data from my original account transitioned to the new one. However, in this forum when I clik on my avatar on the upper right and select 'My Posts/My Replies' there are no results. I have posted before and with the site search I can locate some of them with much trial and error of certain keywords. Can some mod/webmaster fix this please? -thank you
possible to add change every 15 seconds (or less), or even to let user set it to whatever they want?
... While waiting, please try this steps ...
I did this and ran my test. Issue resolved. I went thru these 'purge' steps previously for a different issue and it did fix that issue, I also have seen other topic issues where this 'purge[ is advised. This is unsettling because it informs me that this software has a stability issue. However, thankfully, my issues have not, so far , been showstoppers. -thx
ok, thank you. I will wait on the Support Team's response.
Here is a link to my test folder : https://we.tl/t-ccfCUoTBDX It contains 4 short mp4s. Please run your test with these -thx
I do your steps. No update happens
I am sorry I forget this important information. My playlist content is all mp4. Do your test with all mp4 content. thank you.
fwiw, I notice that the Effects feature contains a 'desaturate' effect. Curious as to why a 'saturate' effect was not included.
Also, in addition to a slider controlled 'saturate' (color increase) effect, I advise adding slider-controlled 'brightness' and 'contrast' effect.
Thank you for the video and I see the issue on my system too. ...
ok, thank you for confirming. I will not alter my system settings for this issue to resolve. I do not mind using a video editor to recover the original color output for Deskscapes use.
I will need sometimes to figure it out if I can. ...
<p
Youtube is not an option. However I can use wetransfer : https://we.tl/t-TiBq3I38z1
If possible please share a short version of the video ...
I have made a short (1 min.) version about 14MB in size. How to share?
Try a combination of Punch and Overbright. It's not quite the same as increasing the saturation, but it's probably as close as you're going to get with DeskScapes.
done that (refer to reply#2) and agree that Punch/Overbright provide a small improvement, but enhance black too much.
