I agree with you entirely. Do you know here In India(some parts of it) it is believed that when a dog dies, it dies to save it's owner. That is, it actually gives it's life to whoever in exchange for the other members of the family. Several years ago when my dog died of the parvo virus, my neighbour actually consoled me saying that her death had averted some disaster that was going to land down on me. Well, Smitha and me had been to see "Welcome to the Jungle". If you've seen Indiana Jones and The Mask of Zorro, you've seen this movie. BakerStreet I couldn't agree more with you. The best option for Taiwan would be to maintain the status quo i.e. neither independent nor chinese. The Chinese will not wage a war for Taiwan now as this will put paid to any thoughts China has to be a world power. They will take at least another 20 yrs. to be one and by that time I think China would be less communist and more of a democracy. History has shown us that there are no Rich Democracies.
