Ah, ok. I didn't know that. Thanks.
Graviton
I am playing a game on a large map with the Drengin. A few turns ago I had the mega event where a disease breaks out. I immediately researched the cure, whitch took 3 turns. During that time my logistics rating was zero. I am running the new 0.96a[b].006 version.
The Drengin In TA get Psionic Beam after Laser V. It seems it is different for most races.
I only played Master of Magic. And there you can forge items for your heroes.
like the max size of units, game session lengths, map sizes
In MoM you could create armies. Each had 9 slots for units and/or hereos. Since you always had to planes with the same size, I had the feeling that the map was quite large. The game sessions could also be very long (like in Civ), depending on how many enemies you had.
That would be very nice. I hope they do it.
I have heard that the new game will be a take off on Masters of Magic, a classic TB game that I never played but I assume it was 4X.
Yes, Master of Magic is a 4x game with round-based tactical battle. Back then I played it very often. One of my most favorite games.
im going to add to the list Fantasy General also an old mindscape game.and the War Lords series by SSG if I remember correctly.
Wasn't Fantasy General more a Hex type game. The
You can backup the download to a disc however it will be in a special package to be reinstalled via SDC, rather than a standard windows installer as you'd find on a retail disc.
The archived files (*.sdc) can also be opened with winrar like a zip file.
Well his profile says he visited last on Feb the 5th. So maybe he will continue his story soon.
Well they invented Hyperdrive. And when you are able to to move whole spaceships at speeds faster than light, then you can also send information that way.
In no particular order: Galciv Series Morrowind and Oblivion Ultima 6 and 7 (BG and SI) Knights of Honor Caesar 3 and 4 Space Quest Series Loom Monkey Island 1 and 2 Master of Magic
In DL I designed my ships. Since DA I only use the templates but place the components myself. I mean the templates look really good. When TA has custom races enabled I will probably start designing my own ships.
These ships really look good. :HOT: Would be great if you release them spleeze_.
Also Laptop here. No problems with GC2 at max. settings including large and huge Galaxies. I haven't tried immesense yet, but should be no problem. My comp has 2 gigs of memory. Memory is really important for games. Best thing to do when you buy a laptop just max out memory and you should have no problems. As with Vista maybe wait for further updates and the service pack.
Korath ask the Kryonians:" Does your race want to survive?" Kryonians:"No." Korath: "In that case we can help you....."
Why don't you archive all parts of GC2 on your main computer and transfer them to your laptop. Then use SDC to install the game.
ok, no further spamming. Describe a little more about the kryonians. So maybe you or some else can mod them.
Now don't say no, no?
You could also put a strategy part on that site. So one doesn't have to search the forum. This might help people who are new to GCII.
Do you have DA now or not? If not you will need it to play TA in any case. I my opinion DA added really great stuff so i it find much better than DL. TA is even a another whole step forward. But it is still beta as not everything is enabled and there may be bugs. Read the beta reports and you can see for yourself. But apart from that all races are active with their own techtree and terror stars are also active.
Next patch went up today.
Thanks didn't realize that.
I need help, my system crashes into a blue screeen fatal error when I invade a colony on TA. I have the lastest beta downloaded. Is it the game or my system? I'm running radeon series 9250 graphics with directx 9.0. Thanks in advance.
I heard that this happens when the AI invades before you do. But it is known that there is a bug in the invasion screen. It will be seen to in the next patch.
I also would like to see this second option. But didn't Frogboy mention something about a second value by which the AI can decide if it wants to trade its tech.
-DS9 would really suck without Garak
I agree. One of the best movies was ST VI "The undiscovered Country". Of the newer ones "First Contact" is quite good. "Nemesis" was ok but it was not like traditional Star Trek. By the way does any of you have bought a Star Trek series on DVD. I mean the price is ridicolus. Now I have seen new Slimline Edition for about 22 EUR per season (amazon.co.uk). In Germany they still want the double price.
If I work this right I'll have fun and challenging games to play for the rest of my natural life.
A dream come true. ;)
I didn't realise that. Because the files don't have the .zip ending. Good to know. ;)
