stardock say maximum are only 3 but a sector in GalCiv2 are not like in GalCiv1they have there nothing like that there was a sektor one movementpoint , one System, one astroid and so on.. A sector in GalCiv I was actually a space of 12x12 single squares. I think the squares are called parsecs in GCII.
Why don't you try that battle. There is a good simulator at www.galciv.com Here is the Link . But there is only one typ of weapon and defense available.
That I don't know. But I read somewhere here on this site that the patches will be available on SDC as localized Versions. Maybe you should mail stardock customer support and ask them directly.

Hi, i have a mouse problem too. My mouse cursor is invisible, it simply won't show. However, I can make selections in the menu screen, but its quite annoiying.
