You're welcome. It's completely logical after you see what's going on, but also completely nonsensical beforehand -- why would setting a single icon confuse half a package?

I ran into the same thing and was quite confused for a while. Everything posted above is true, but it still took a few more steps before I could reliably change icons and have the changes stick. Here's the process: 1a. Copy the .png or .ico file you want to use into the package folder and give it a unique name. YES!!!! OS Caption Height of 23 solved the problem. Man, that was sneaky. How in the word did you figure that one out? I love the "The Captain" skin included with the latest WindowBlinds, but the new QuickAccess titlebar toolbars for things like MS Office and Windows Explorer don't work. They work fine with the Modern and Windows 8 skins, but in "The Captain" the buttons register the mouseover, but not a left or right click -- they seem to be overlaid by the standard caption function of right-clicking for the system menu and double-clicking for maximize/restore. Several skins get a corrupted task bar, with odd black patches, when resuming after suspend on WinXP service pack 2, WB 5.1 and WB 5.4 beta. Some don't, but I can't see a difference in the task bar buttons and background settings. Anyone else run into this? - Mike

Start menu color glitch in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Color of text in classic start menu is randomly changing to the highlighted menu color in WB 4.6, even if the mouse is nowhere near the start menu. This is a problem if the menu has a white background and the menu highlight text is alo white. Sometimes items show up as normal, unselected (black) text, sometimes the highlight color. Changing the hilight color to black is a workaround, but another solution woudl be better. Any ideas?
