Gaming 101 is new toys(ships) ..it gets players blood flowing and wanting to come back for more. Every game sequel includes new units to expand the combat and keep things interesting. It also softens the eventualities of comparision to the first game. IMHO Every returning race in this game should have at least two new Cap ships amongst some new frigates. Does every races need loyalist/rebels? Why not take some of those polygons and make 4 new races?

Are you planning any new ships? Or just a remake of all the old ones?
Sorry for your loss.

What if fleets/ships were given/able a pre programed option of maneuvers? a. Circle well b. zig zag well c. Ball up/ defensive d. Wagon train/ offensive e. etc...
Ships should be able to move around a gravity well defensively in formation without any input from the player.
This is IMO what Falling Frontier is shooting for, big scale RTS/4X combo, but with smaller scale battles and ships not so easily replaceable. Pretty much as if Sins was just capship game. Personally, i prefer how Sins is doing it, or better said, if FF doing it that way, i am fine with Sins sticking to its bigger scope, SupCom like approach. It kinda makes more sense as well, no point in big multi-planet maps, if you dont have eno
Since turrets move now throwing that usefulness in a huge ball of flames is kinda pointless. What if Sins scaled down to maybe a fleet level of 30 ships max but with more involvement on the smaller things like targeting, ammo inventory, even Captains....it would be like Governores in Civ except for ship abilities. You would upgrade everything and would meet more difficult reces deeper into space you go.
I can't believe you're thinking of removing fleets from a space game. 🙄 Players get excited creating fleets..
I've always felt grav wells were to small and scale with the planets was off versus ship size.
You came on Steam without announcing yourself without an offical tag and filed a complaint for abusing you after we doubted you. Plus you have a brand new account with a Steam level of 2. That's some community manager greeting...... lol...
Why the Russian support?
You’re the demographic that’s about to lose their forum access…
Very Musky of you. I only stated disappointment in the game..you obviously only like to hear flowers and butterflies. I have Steam to voice my opinions.

Lanes could of been space lanes that battles can take place in... making for true choke points. Instead of just copying Sins 1.
Whats your thoughts that true artists suffer when ai art is used to replace them?
I still do'nt understand the need to copy every cap ship, or even the races. This looks more like an update than a sequel.
Bombardment is still the only way to capture a planet?
Ship is exactly the same on both sides. 🙄
Just wanted to say, i feel quite opposite to OP. I barely played the game so far, cause the changes and additions available in the playable game currently, as compared to Rebellion, are not big enough or deep enough to make the game feel distinct enough, all of the stuff is mostly cosmetic (like 16 research bases instead of 8 civic + 8 military, and stuff like this)...and to see the probably most major change, the orbiting bodies, one can on
The fact that moving turrets are a selling point and the ships still act like they did in Sins 1 amazes me.
It always bothered me that the strikecraft would never dock...just sit in space until an enemy appeared.
