Since you guys are so willing to discuss trade, and I don't want to start a new thread on something that I'm sure has been heavily discussed already: could you guys give me some tips on how to make money on trade? I've made good amounts on trade, but I'm sure there are things I could do to improve my trade-generated income.
Yeah, I've used the Terror Star/Starbases to convert enemy planets with great results. I had about 30 planets rebel and join my side in about 15 turns, this is WAY easier than declaring war and attacking. Thanks for the answers. I think I tried destroying several uninhabited star systems, and when that didn't work, I gave up. Terror Stars should be able to attack ships as well.
Ok, maybe I'm a complete idiot and I totally don't know what I'm doing, but what is the point to turning a Starbase into a Terror Star? From the hints given during the game, I thought I'd be able to kick major ass if I had a Terror Star. However, in one game I had 5 or 6 of them, and they were nothing but a glorified starbase. I couldn't attack anything with them. Did I do something wrong or what? What things can a Terror Star do that a Starbase can't? Also, there are mentions during the game ab
My second game was a "gigantic" galaxy, and I think it said the difficulty was "suicidal". After a few days I got my victory and tried over and over again to submit the score (somewhere around 600). At one point it said the score had been submitted, and it was 580 or so. However, that was last night and I still have a score of 0 on the Metaverse. Am I doing something wrong?
I didn't read the manual, I figured out the game while I played. The game is well designed and one of the best strategy games I've played in years. Ship movement is a breeze. Dick Wiggler, you suck at playing video games. The only compaint I have is that I can't get my scores to show up on the Metaverse.
