thats why i don't understand why people will buy a game and then immediately look for cheats. It seems pointless to me to cheat because then its way to easy.

Im new but i think its an advantage to start in the corner. Isnt it better that you only have two borders to defend w/sol, which is usually my best planet?

I used a terror star on a tiny map, and to win i destroyed all the other planets. it was kind of fun but way to easy cuz it had all the military and defense bonuses and three or four rangers to guard it.

Too many buildings in Strategies Stardock Forums

i took over a planet from a minor civilization and then found out that they had built every single building available. I was losing a lot of money through that place. Is there any way to destroy buildings??????

I got the dreadlord event and then ten turns later it happened again. Needless to say, they slaughtered me in a few turns

Dreadlords?? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Im new to the game and was playing a small galaxy with the intelligences set to one below normal. I was doing great and was probably about halfway through the game, i had just gotten dreadnaughts, when a popup said that the dreadlords had risen, or something like that. ten turns later it said it again and very good ships flew around and killed me in about two turns. Is there any way to stop them or was i just unlucky???
