Listen, Kiddo. Most of the adults in this hobby have a rich and fulfilling life outside of video games. Hence we don’t have to get validation from boasting our awesome maths skills in front of strangers on the internet. T

I am not sure why the two persons in this forum who are unable to comprehend written English have taken to answering my proposal in the most unhelpful manner. I still hope someone responsible can tell me if my proposal of showing cumulated damage numbers for weapons/cap ships is at all viable.

Your post is so unhelpful [e digicons]:|[/e] First of all you have no idea of my relationship with maths. Secondly I am not arguing against having numbers in the game (which sure as hell don’t "cause me discomfort"). It is just not useful having a name of a weapon with a different damage output on (potentially) every ship together with a "number of that weapon". If a weapon always had around 10 DPS, then information like "4x this weapon" would be remotely use

Thanks for the quick answer. Follow up: Why is there a number of turrets then? Wouldn’t it make much more sense to just write the name of the turret and the complete damage output? That way we would have to do less math. On a similar note: Why don’t we get a summarized DPS for each Cap Ship? Thanks a lot!

Hey people, I realized that the weapons on different Caps show different values, even if the weapon is of the same type. Example: Radiance Battleship: Heavy Plasma 9.4 Progenitor Mothership: Heavy Plasma 6.3 There are multiple other examples. Is this on purpose? If so, how are the values influenced? Thanks a lot.

Hey guys, I just realized the arrow buttons on the big button where you switch between "Manual Saves (Single Player)", "Quick Saves (Single Player)" etc. don’t do anything ^^ If you click them it just counts as clicking the big button, which proceeds the loop one step. So strictly speaking the right arrow does do what it should (because it is supposed to do what the button itself does anyways), but the left arrow is very misleading. Please either remove the arrows or mak

Yes, the context thing is very important. What I actually want is an option to always show BOTH the 3D models and overlay. That way the 3D models only disappear when zooming out far enough so they disappear behind the overlay (because the models get smaller while the overlay doesn't). That way I have a fluid change between models and icons, which helps a lot with context but also with identifying ships correctly by their corresponding overlay. In Soase we had that option and I

Hey people, is there an easy way to change the point where the 2D overlay appears? Cinematic mode removes them completely (and doesn’t stay on when you interact). There used to be an option to show them all the time in Soase, which was brilliant. The 3D models also never disappeared. I would like to have the same option (aka always see both the 3D model and the 2D overlay). Any ideas?
