A number of (mostly) economic questions in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hello all, I can't say I'm new to the game, but I didn't play in a few years and I caught the x4 bug again so I went to give galciv another shot. There are a number of questions that I have since the last time I played: 1. Freighters, does it pay off to upgrade their engines, will that increase the trade speed and income or are trade routes fixed by 1pc? 2. I'm always last on the reasearch list, however I do trade researches a lot, and although
