Hmmm good you solved your problem. But I think Stardock is a great program/utility that ensures me that my game i up to date when I want to check if a new version available. And it remembers my keys as a bonus. So I really like Stardock I can use when I wanne use it, not like "the other" companys product.

A lot of good ideas. The filter for weapons and equipment is really a good idea!
I have twin 7800 GTX and DL AND DA runes just great and always has.... Besides the timing problems solved by the AMD CPU driver.
I couldn't agree more to this. A job well done. Have just convinced a GCII player to buy the expansion and attracting a new player to try'em both out. You deserve every penny you get for this! Cheers Mark
Thanx Bingjack, yes I just saw that Space Weapons gave me "Particle Beam".... one day I will learn to read what it says on the screen.
Hi, I bought DA yesterday and really like what I see - its a great game. I started a new game today and saw a (for me) strange thing.... I researched space weapons -> Missile Weapon Theory -> Stinger I. And I can now build the core defender ship. But the problem is that it has a beam value of 1 and I hasn't resarched beam weapons. So is this normal? Cheers Mark
I'm using that driver and it dosn't help. So I makes sure to run GalCiv on one core. But I'm really not sure if this disables the advanced AI, i.e. multithreading on multiple cores ? Edit: I've just tried the 1.3.2.16 version and it seems to help!
Slyven, that sounds like a great idea. Could this be done?
HI, since I'm a noob at GalCiv II I'm a little unsure about trading technology. Its pretty easy to see if the "person" you are trading with likes the deal i.e. the text turns red if they don't want trade the technology or your not paying enough. But when the AI is the initiator of the trade? I mean, I'm no familiar enough with the trade chart and have no idea if they are pulling my leg or the like. Can I see this somewhere ? I don't think I can open the techtree from the trading screen so I'm p
I'm running at 1280x1024 at home with no problems and 1400x1050 with my laptop again with no problems. I can't praise you enough for making the resolution true dynamic!
Hmmm can't see it...and I'm pretty sure I preordered....????
Easy now , since I'm in software developing with customers in the other end, I know that you have to prioritize all the "what goes when". I'm looking forward to see what you have in store for us. My wish is a really minor!
... a real time clock somewhere in the UI. Time just flies away. A job well done. Cheers Mark
And me too....can't wait!
