You are able to when your taskbar is unlocked. When it is unlocked, move your cursor over the vertical gripper to the left of the vdm so it turns into a horizontal resize cursor. From there just click down and drag it onto your desktop and it should create a window with your virtual desktops. To put it back on the taskbar just move the window back onto the taskbar.

I've had the same type of problem but for me it was always from converted msstyles.
You can't replace icons with png files in Windows, only .ico files can be used, but you can convert png files into .ico files with IconDeveloper then replace the icons manually or through IconPackager.

You can skin specific applications in Windowblinds through the Per Application section in the Windowblinds Configuration dialog. There you can add certain applications and force them to be skinned with a default skin or a certain skin you have installed, or even ignore it being skinned at all.

After downloading the skin, try renaming it to a .zip file (assuming it's a .logonxp file), then unzipping it in the LogonStudio program folder. For example, if you download "skin.logonxp", rename it to "skin.zip" and unzip it into C:\Program Files\Stardock\LogonStudio\{skin name}, or wherever LogonStudio is installed at.

Try renaming the *.zip file you downloaded to a *.logonxp file, then double-click the file to install it or click on the Load button in LogonStudio to browse and select the file.

I just finished my first WB skin and I have found one bug in it I just can't find how to fix. For some reason, whenever I go to shutdown or logoff, the Standby/Hibernate and Switch Users buttons always appear in their mouseover state, but they appear just fine in skin studio. I don't think it's the image I made for those buttons, they are regular 24-bit bitmaps with each state being 33x33.
