I actually meant r/r when I wrote c/c. Stupid me forgot how difficulty is graded in FE... Blind, I get it. Stacks with dodge bonuses perfectly, +curse. Inspiration, I don't find that much useful. Easier to buy techs off stupid AIs later, and I find little point in pushing techs earlier except for the workshop and horses. Slow, useful later on, but by the time I find myself in need of it, I usually have someone soulsucked anyway or an army good enough to not need it.

While I (sadly) must admit that nerfs would probably be a part of this, I'd be more expecting someone with some clue about balancing to take a good look at the champions, who, I believe, are pretty overlooked, and buff them as well. Neither uberheros (cheats are for this, if you want) nor fire casting dwarfs add much to my enjoyment.

I'm not sure if this issue has been raised before, but I believe it definitely needs more attention. Champions that you get after starting a new game are not balanced well. I am mainly talking about level 1-3 champs and chimps (I name them this way for their usefulness). While some are VERY useful for their level, some are as about as useful as a sovereign with no traits, who can be molded into something, but is still quite gimped by default.
