Sorry for the long delay, this occurred only on the testing branch, it was several builds ago now, so largely invalid and has stopped occurring. I think it was a desynchronization issue as we only saw it occur when the involved players also got a net code type error where we had to hit "skip" in regards to synchronization.

It was a 3 player vs 3 AI game, when we went to load the game after a break, all the save files were missing complete data, it was different depending on which player loaded the mission. the mission loader had most of their planets, but the other players didn't have any planets but their home planet (even though prior to the save, they had 5-6 planets each.
When loading a save from the latest testing branch, some objects were not present in the save, some players were missing planets, others ships. Loading a save game was not possible without seeing this loss.
Just had my first real multiplayer game, me and friend vs. the AI. It was fantastic. I had two massive fleets and the performance stayed high the entire game! The visuals are wonderful. The automatic research upon trying to build something new is also fantastic. I can go on and on about the positive experience I just had. The future of this franchise is great indeed!
