Tips for new player? in Sins of a Solar Empire II Sins2 Forums

Hi, Love the game, but I struggle and I know I suck for sure. I see streamers going 1/2vsX AI on hard and even worse and they seem to do fine. I mainly try to do 4vs4 or 5vs5 game and put all AI on easy. I followed some guides on how to start etc so feel I got the start okay and I try to build a decent amount of ships. But just today I lost my fleet twice and started all over again after that. Going to try a 3rd time today to see if I can be more careful and maybe run
