I'm having a crash with v1.7 using the new starbase queue system. The starbase is a mining base that has an artifact that another civilization claims, but is out of sensor range. The game allows me to add the Xeno Archaeology tree to the base queue, but the game crashes when I try to remove it from the queue.

Agreed. Short of a fix, there needs to be an option just to turn off combat. As it is right now, it's grossly unfair to the AI and makes it challenging to test other aspects of the game with AI difficulty cranked up.
I'm experiencing this problem too. I'm playing the Drengin Empire, v0.31, if it makes any difference.
I've noticed that the manufacturing queue for planets doesn't get a scroll bar even if you queue more than six items. This is with resolution set to 1366x768, and UI size to small.
I'm seeing this too. Setting autocast to disabled does work, but it means that Guardians are useless unless I'm constantly monitoring my fleets. For larger maps, this is really hard to do. It basically makes the AI much more powerful, because the AI can manage far more ships than a human. Skylar
