gamerlamb ... me too !! I'm starting up another campaign as Vasari ... I really like their ships ... the design that is. I'll find out how well I like their capabilities soon. .. and it is a great game ... I'm a devoted proponent.

I too am a newb. I bought the game ~6 weeks ago. I picked up the basics fairly quick but the AI was kicking my arse. I could not get far enough along to learn all the more advanced technologies.
