Custom Movies Playing at Double Speed in Modding GalCiv2 Forums

I've put some animations into my custom race, which were originally .gifs converted with rad video tools to .biks. They work fine apart from the fact that they all play back in-game at double speed. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Sovereign Race? in Legendary Heroes Elemental Forums

Is there anyway to create a custom faction with a non-humanoid race as sovereign? I was looking forward to making an undead faction with a zombie sovereign etc but it doesn't look like there is a way to. Any ideas?
