I did go ahead and buy the Expansion Pass while it was still in its discount period. Again, if I need to pick Ill choose to support Epic, so I am hoping down the time that all the expansions will be able to be transferred as well. However, Im sure that what Epic wants is for people to use its storefront. Hello, I am very happy to have discovered that Stardock worked with Epic to grant Steam game keys to anyone who purchased Galactic Civilizations IV or Galactic Civilizations IV: Supernova through the Epic Games Store. I did it, and it worked easy and instantly. Simply amazing. Now it creates a question for me. I am interested in buying the expansion pass ... ... really I could stop there as I think the quest

I am very sorry to hear that Stardock is allowing their games to be sold on Steam. I bought one game that, as they all do on Steam, manditorally required that Steam be used, installed and running on my PC. It was such a horrid experience I actually went back to the store and begged the manager to let me return the game for a different one although it had already been opened. Since then I have not, and I will not, ever, buy a game that is Steam affiliated. Steam
