Awesome, love these images and finally....ship dimensions. Can't say I'll miss the hanger bay.

[quote who="Jafo" reply="1" id="3864291"] There are all sorts of questions that can be asked but shouldn't necessarily be expected to be answered. [Like who killed Roger Rabbit]. Business decisions/associations/connections/whatever are rarely anyone's business other than those engaged in 'the Business'. A clear indication of what I mean..... I do not know, simply because I do not need to know, and have no interest in knowing. I 'could' fi
Awesome, thanks for the road map!

Trying to get the current ones to fit nicely on my monitor is a bit of a pain, it'd be awesome if we could get some 3440x1440 support for the awesome wallpapers that are being put out.
That's great news, I enjoyed making and breaking alliances so I'm hoping for deeper diplomacy options and smarter A.I. that can take advantage of it.
You posted on a public forum but wasn't asking for responses? Next time you want to say your piece with no feedback, put it on your myspace page.
Well old timer, looking at your Wikipedia page, that's quite a laundry list of games you guys have been able to put out. Thank Epic for that I guess. Again I get why you did it and I accepted it but trying to paint Epic as a savior for anyone but yourselves is dishonest. Yes you get more money but that doesn't guarantee consumers get a better product.
[quote who="RonBurke" reply="74" id="3863812"] Some food for thought -- some games simply would not get made without external funding like you find with Epic. So...in many cases the choices are nothing, or some period of exclusivity. For me, that seems like a no brainer. Don't take my word for it. https://www.gamesindustry.biz/sweeney-epic-g
I don't mind them looking a bit more advanced than what they were, I mean in 5 years we don't know the refits that were possible but the coloring is far too cartoonish. Like the Blue Kol? The Blue should be black or grey or metallic looking and then the silver stripe, that should be something for a team color. I can see the the TEC ships start to get more militarized looking refits and designs but I just don't care for the Starcraft 2 look.
I'd say probably the first year of Early Access, that seems to be the typical time frame for these Epic exclusives. I know they can't talk about it but I can't see Stardock going exclusive for any longer than that.
Can we get another Collector's Edition like Rebellion? Maybe with the Advent's Radiance Battleship? Or maybe even a Homeworld 3 style with a light up 14" ship.
I hope for improvements to A.I. , that is a big must for me as I probably won't do much multiplayer online if any. And please include the Systems of War map from the first game, that was my favorite, maybe even a 6-player variant.
Yeah that's a concern for me, the first game had a very realistic art style and design, Sins 2 seems very cartoonish from the banner with the characters to the ships being so colorful. I don't mind it looking clean, in 5 years we're not sure what advances have been made but I'd prefer the team colors to be more subtle. The character designs though, this looks like they pulled them from a Nickelodeon cartoon show.
Sure if you want to cherry pick your favorite, whatever floats your boat.
[quote who="captainkoloth" reply="10" id="3862954"] I've never had any understanding at all of this irrational hatred people have for the Epic store. It's a platform selling Windows games exactly like Steam. Steam also is a form of DRM. Countless games are exclusive on Steam and nowhere else, as they are for Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo. It's OK to hate just one of those distribution systems and no others, I guess, but then don't expect to see the games you want developed actually get

Well Yarlen says it makes no sense to be tied to one storefront these days yet when I go to pre-order, it only gives me one storefront to choose from. Is this an Early Access bug??
Great so why can't I pre-order this on Steam, GOG, Origin, UPlay, Humble Bundle etc??
A Steam release.
