I quite like this design; it feels a bit more like a carrier compared to the original Sova model, although I do like them both. Also, the ability to make corvettes on campaign sounds extremely neat. I haven't messed with the test build in a while, I might have to make time this weekend to try this out.

I feel the same way. After playing this game all these years, from playing the box release on my old XP desktop in 2008 until these recent years playing modded rebellion, I am thrilled this is happening at all. I imagine this will be the only game I'll purchase on Epic, unless a Sins 3 ever arrives. Once a Steam version is available, I may pick it up on that platform on sale if only to uninstall a game launcher.

I'm super excited to see Sins 2 actually be announced! I've been playing off and on since the 2008 release, I still have my boxed copy of the original, and my collector's edition of Rebellion. I'm most excited for improved late game performance, but I'm also hype for everything else, including any extended lore. The story of this game has a lot of potential, I think.
