* Z-Axis. It may not be an issue for people going against AI, but in PvP games the Z-Axis can be abused and may be difficult use and adds an unneeded layer of complexity. It might also "break" the game in various ways such as being able to move ships over starbases that cannot fire upward along a vertical axis. In my view, the Z-Axis should be eliminated as it is completely unneeded and would add an unnecessary layer of complexity to the game. Alternatively, at the very least a toggle

The point is that they were a massive part of your early fleet composition, so how two capital ships fared when directly facing off was very important to the outcome of early fights. One of the things I feel Sins did extremely well is its streamlined macromanagement. A lot of RTS games require an incredible amount of attention and management in their economic systems, often disproportionate to the amount of strategy going on there. A game like Starcraft 2 requires incredible amount of attention to be paid to workers to keep them tasked correctly while also keeping them safe from harassment. Supreme Commander requires incredible focus to keep mass, energy, and build capaci
A lot of times you could make a cap go level 6, but if you compare a Sova for instance vs. a Marza
Funnily enough, this actually was the opposite before Rebellion. It was the Sova that was largely outclassing the Marza. Back then corvettes didn't exist, so your options for countering bombers in the early-game were fighters or a critical mass of flaks. Running carrier cruisers or large numbers of flaks would just get you r

Ah, this takes me back. The issue with colony capital ships really comes down to the strategic advantage they offered that simply could not be obtained by any other means. While other capital ships offered unique abilities, none were so impactful or game-changing. Colonizing with regular colony ships meant clearing a path through the militia for them, clearing out the militia on the target planet, then bringing them in and letting them regenerate antimatter for a minute to colonize.

As someone who really isn't a fan of Valve or Steam, this has basically been my reality for over a decade. Epic is just another store I disapprove of and won't buy from. The day Sins 2 shows up at GOG, I will insta-buy. Until then, I'll be watching from the sidelines. Good luck, make a great game, and hopefully it isn't too long before everyone can buy on their preferred storefront.
