Folks, thanks very much for the advice! I'll likely buy the expansion bundle, but only install DA at first and AFTER I've played a couple of games of DL. ToA will wait for a bit, I suppose. :) After reading about all the changes/improvements I was already to go for it. But the reasonng that you all give for ramping up to ToA makes a lot of sense and I have to bow to your experience. Thanks again. I truly appreciate the help!
I am a beginning player, as in game-is-installed-but-I've-not-yet-started-playing. I have the Dread Lords expansion, but am reading that there are 2 more recent expansion sets. I'm wondering which is most advisable: to go ahead and play Dread Lords and "grow" into the expansions one-by-one. . .or to just go ahead and buy and install DA and ToA. I know that I'll like the game so that's not a consideration. I'm just wondering if there's anything that I'll miss by basically beginning at t
