So a few months ago my computer went through some pretty major troubleshooting, which I only officially got completely fixed as of Sunday night. And now that I can actually turn on my computer, run games, get sound, ect... I decided thats its time I start to question where my $60 Gal Civ 2 pack went? The only game I have listed under "My Games" is the game I used a disk for (Sins). Im not wanting to buy that package too much again, so if anyone might have an idea how to get this fixed I would

ive been thinking of buying a new graphics card for a while (had another post about a month ago), but i have just a few questions about it first. 1. I have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, are there any compatibility issues that might come into play? 2. When im switching out the graphics cards, what are the chances of damaging my pc? And how easy is it to switch them out? 3. besides a nice graphics card, what would i need to run some of the more graphic
Ive been playing on an immense map as the krynn for awhile now, and getting near 500 turns i have by far the biggest treasury. The only problem is that i just dont have any idea how to efficiently put it to good use. Ive already got my industry as 100 and ive put around 300 bc in espionage, but after that im just not sure what to do. And ive only had the game for a few weeks, so there are still a few aspects im still getting used to. Any help would be great :)
Im pretty new and in the few games that ive played ive kinda found out that my playstyle seems to shift towards colonizing a cluster of planets and just doing tons and tons of research while still filling in planet tiles. Though even after doing this it seems like my stats (from the stats and graphs screen) are inredibly low. And though i usually end up in last place, is there any good strategy that still lets me lean towards research alot, but still not end up in last place and have a realy
i just bought the ultimate bundle from impulse, and right after the games pop onto my games tab, a note appears over the 2 expansions saying "the serial number you have entered in not recognized by impulse. Only serial numbers provided by Stardock will be accepted. Please check your product, emil address, and serial number, then try again." i could realy use some help, im probly missing somthing stupid but i always get nervous when somthing starts to go wrong right after i b
Today i tried returning armada for the first since 1.1, and honestly i cant say that i am too happy with the new requirements for it (2500- creds, some number i forgot- metal, and 500- crystal for each time you call in a fleet). Ya the update did fix up some balancing issues for it, but in my opinion Returning Armada is what made the Vasari Completly beastly. I tried it out while playing 2v2 on Doppledangers (me being the economic backup and a teamate to handle defending and attacking) and ho
ive been waiting for this update for a while now, but im kinda getting annoyed when about 75% of the time i try and log into ICO my pc completly freezes up (except for the mouse, but that still doesent do any good). And after it freezes i have to restart my pc, which starts becoming very, very annoying. But sometimes when i do get in, i can play a game but when ever i try and do the "test connecting" thing or watever that is it freezes up again. Any1 know how i could fix this?</p
For the past few days ive kept coming back to impule on the brink of buying the ultimate bundle pack, but always end up not doing it. mainly because i just dont want to spend 60 bucks on a game im only going to play for a few hors when i could buy gears of war 2 or somthing of that sort. I just had a few questions about the game that i couldnt realy get alot of information from via google. 1. how is the replayability? i am kinda interested in the immense sized maps, but if there only
i was playing the demo the other day for dark avatar and honestly, i was kinda impressed since for the most part i play xbox and an occaisional pc strategy game. And this game is starting to rise on my list of games to get, but 60 dollars is alot to pay for the game and its expansions. And though some strategy games are pretty good (Sins of a solar empire is one that kinda stuck out), they tend to get repetitive or they rely on combat too much (which is perfectly fine in an fps of something o

Ive installed the beta, but since there isnt realy a whole lot of people on, i was wondering if any1 here knows how i can go back to the actual game? (and ive tried uninstalling and installing it again, and that didnt work) Any help would be great :)
with some of the heavy duty games coming out on the pc, ive been thinking about buying a new graphics card. Im just wondering though, if i do buy one is there any other major things that i might have to upgrade in order to play some of the better games for pc rather than buying them for the xbox? Any help is greatly appreciated :)
i was just wondering, that second ability that the subverter has (cant remember the name, but its the one that disables ships), does that stack when more than one subverter uses the ability? in other words: 2 subverters use the ability, is the amount of time the enemy ship disabled doubled? Thx in advance :)
for some reason im not even sure if this is legal, but im going to ask any way. I recently downloaded a game off gamershell for free. once i got it downloaded (had to do it twice), i started installing it. Once i entered my ubi acount info (the game was far cry btw) i clicked next but then a few seconds later it said "sorry, you must live in the us to play this game" (which i definitly do). im not entirly sure if there is a fix for this but if anyone knows why it would say this it would be a
i recently had a battle very similiar to that one, except i was playing as vasari. i had destroyed most his other ships and had some1 else takeing care of the ones who were reatreating. i very easily crippled all of his kodiaks with the subverters in gravity well phase jump (cant remember the name). i just had a few enforcers (vasari heavy cruiser) and assalints (vasari long range ship) deal some damage and they were praticly done. I havent had much expeirence but i can say that from wat ive
im just curious, when you have trade ports set up and phase stabilizers at every planet you have a trade port at. Would that increase the amount of credits you get, or does when the trade ships arrive at the next trade port not matter at all?
Ive read some of the strategy posts and ive noticed just about all of them are for tec. Im relativly new to multiplayer and atm and getting severely owned. Im wondering if anyone who is used to playing as vasari could give me some advice about playing online. My current strategy is to immediatly get a cap ship structer then colonizer building, get the metal/crystal things built, and then que 3 skirmishers. Then i just try to expand as much as i can while at the same ti
Im going to start off by saying that i am pretty bad when it comes down to some of the computer stuff (mainly anything that has to do with connection) I just tried going online for the first time, and i noticed that there were only two mathes up?? I checked back again later and there were once again only 2 matches. I know there are probly more matches than that and i would very much like to atleast try and play them. Now to why i pointed out im bad with connection. I read
