Hello! I play with a group cooperatively against the AI. We often start games with a "placeholder" AI or two, if everyone is not ready to start on time. This allows them to then hotjoin later and take over an AI. However, the game does not seem to allow any way for the player to choose which AI he or she takes over. This is particularly a problem when we have set up the specific factions that people want to play, yet the game puts the player into a different AI's slot. We have

Hello! My friends and I play this game cooperatively against the AI. We have encountered an issue where we can effectively trap AI fleets in a single gravity well indefinitely, if we so choose. This happens when we set 1-2 (or more) TEC garrisons in neighboring gravity wells to "offensive roam," which causes a steady stream of garrison ships to fly to the hostile system where the AI fleet is.
