Been offline for a few days. I did a system restore to fix the blank StartMenu / .exe icons. I knew about that registry fix but could not find it in my internet searches. Thanks Shirley, I will save that now for future reference. Well, although IP looked fine after a rebuilt icon-cache and updating to the next version (although I see 4.1 is out now), after

Thanks for the heads-up. I have installed the update, I presume it's fairly minor being a .01 increment, but always hopefull... Initial indications were good, just two folders in My Documents which refuse to show the correct icon, but only at 1 display size. Unfortunately, I then noticed that most of the icons on my Start Menu had reverted to blank icons (a

Follow up - really confused now! In going back to do the screenshot (and having re-applied the Yuumenco IconPackage yet again), I find that all the folders appear to have the following Icon set: D:\Public\Documents\Stardock\IconPackager\Yuuminco(R4)(XP-Vista)\Yuuminco Icon 20.ico,0 (I presume that the last

I have iconpackager (latest build via Impulse) installed on Vista Ultimate x64. I have had loads of problems getting iconsets applied consistently. Something always had the wrong icon; the user Downloads folder seems particularly tricky, folders on mapped drives as well, and then some random ones on local drives. I finally thought I had cracked it after following instructions to delete

For anyone else reading this post and having the same problem, it only occurs if you have the mouse buttons swapped in the Windows Control Panel>Mouse applet. My mouse is a Logitech model, and uses SetPoint software. I found that I can swap the buttons in Setpoint instead, and ObjectDock is not affected.

Well you earned your title of 'Wizard' and definitely some Karma! What a bizarre side effect of using a left-handed mouse! More accurately, it is an external mouse on a notebook with the buttons swapped. Reverting the buttons to the default fixed the issue. On my desktop machine, running Vista Ultimate x64. I have a 'proper' left handed mouse, and this does not suffer the problem at all. thanks very much

I have OD 1.90 bld 535u running on Vista Business x32 Not sure when, but I have lost the ability to change the sequece of dock icons by dragging them. I can add icons by dragging them onto the dock but can only remove icons using the context menu. I cannot drag icons to reorder them at all. I have tried enabling and disabling 'Lock Dragging' from the contect menu and it makes no difference at all. I can't find any settings anywhere else that might be causing the pro

I would like to add that I have just experienced this issue on updating IconPackager to the latest release via Impulse. I have experienced the problem before, too long ago to remember how I fixed it. I attempted to set my icons back to the Windows Default, and used both the Repair and Rebuild options in IconPackager to no avail.

I've lost icons from many of my shortcuts on the start menu. I was using Aqualix Vista, and have reverted to Windows default, and I have tried rebuilding & repairing the icon cache but so far to no avail. Even the icons for the program .exe's are reverted to generic. I have IconPackager 4.10.172 (x64) & Vista Ultimate fully patched. Any ideas how to restore my icons? thanks EDIT NOTE: I have just seen the thread "<a id="ctl00__Content_
