[Suggestion] I liked in Gal Civ 2 when you were defeating someone, the would surrender and give their worlds to another faction they were close with. It really added a new dynamic to being a bully as your war could actually help your enemies. Hopefully that is part of the diplomacy build coming.
Please no. I always hate that crap in the games that use it. You beat someone down and get poised to conquer them, only to have them "opt out" by becoming some ot

Plus countless people couldn't even play the game properly because of DRM issues (as well as general issues with sy

It's a real shame there's no hot seat. That's how my friends and I play all these games (Master of Orion 2, Heroes of Might & Magic series, Civ, etc). "Teams" usually mean that players are in a preset alliance that never changes. It's... okay, but not as good as having the actual diplomatic options to form alliances and such. How exactly do the teams work? Is it just players on the team not able to attack each other and sharing victory? Are t

The Steam forums are pretty terrible. So many trolls, crybabies, and entitled jerks. lol But yeah, I see a lot of people on Steam complaining endlessly about the $100 Elite Founder thing... um... nobody's making them buy it. But they still rant about how Stardock is ripping them off and such. What's funny is that these same people will happily toss $60+ to pre-order some big AAA title from companies that have proven themselves untr

So first off, what exactly are our multiplayer options? Are we stuck with online only? Or can we play hot seat? Secondly, will there be the option for allied victories? Being able to ally with other players (and AI factions) and win as a team is definitely important. And when playing with another player, it tends to get around that inevitable stalemate that generally happens (once both human players basically divide the galaxy between them). :) </p
Star names will go through another review before being entered into the final game, so if it's something that slipped through you still have time to change it.....for now. There are a number of names there which I think should have been rejected: 050313 asag 101010 127dot0dot0dot1 Almost Mathieu ATMO Awesomnius BraveNewWorld Cheesemonger Just to point out a few. I think they're horribly immersion destroying names and simply do not fit. I know we can remove them ourselves... but I think it's kind of sad that they're forcing names like that on
but the founders star names appear in everyone's version of the game...unless modded out.
True, which is kind of cool. Just wish the damn thing would work for me so I could get mine registered. :p

I'm glad to see that they've got console commands in there. It really lets players have fun in new ways or test out new ideas and strategies. Or just mess about and stomp over everyone they come across. lol

So when I try to use the Name a Star thing, I keep getting the following message: An error has occurred while submitting your star name. Please try again . Does anyone know why this is happening? The name I chose isn't on the list, and it's not offensive or anything. I even tried different names, and the same thing happens. Also, I would like my name displayed as Adam "Lord Blade
