Bug #1: This occurs in tactical battles: Occasionally when I use the tactical battle screen's initiative queue (along the left side of the screen) to click on an enemy portrait, the game treats it as though I am interacting with objects on the main map. Other times it will tre

Came here to post this one. Instead I'll just acknowledge that I'm also experiencing this.
EDIT: Humm, just saw the one sentence I missed my first time through the thread, you know, the one that answered my question before I asked it.
Looks like Gamespot has concluded the review in progress: 4.0 http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/elementalwarofmagic/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary%3Bread-review

I've been playing the game weekly with my wife since release, neither of us have ever crashed until this latest patch, and now we crash on a regular basis. We've already notified of the problem and sent them the demigodlog.txt. Hopefully they can figure out the problem soon.
I agree with this, i have been to EB lately and they hate pc (for no good reason)
There's a very good reason they hate pc games, too much trouble trying to buy/resell used ones among other things. They sold over a billion dollars in used games last year and over half their revenue was based soley on used game sales. They don't care about the PC market because the entire market barely sold 500 million in softwa
This thread is a wealth of information. Thanks for posting it.

You made me chuckle out loud.
I use a Nvidia GeForce 7900GTX and the game looks SO MUCH MORE AWESOME now. I havn't been home enough to play for the last month or so, but I login today and WOW, completely unexpected. I could tell by various user videos I was missing graphics, but I thought it was only because I had to play on low settings, i didn't realize there was a display bug. The game just got so much cooler for me.
Be careful buying from Gamersgate with a credit card. I've recently heard that all CC transactions are treated like Cash advances by thier processor -- which means higher interest rate/penalties and liabilities instead of a standard charge. They have the option to use paypal instead.
Were you on the Majesty 2 forums and got lost? Seriously, it sounds like you're talking about Majesty there. No idea where you'd get that idea for Elemental. Go through the rest of the developer journals, they've been quite informative.
Elemental is being described as 'like majesty' in certain regards by Brad in an audio interview he did somewhere. I forget what the interview was for exactly,
With all this talk about 'stacks of doom' I'm left wondering if I mis-understood how this game is expected to work. It was my understanding that players will not be in direct control of assembling armies. It was my understanding that all we are doing is providing the resources/training for the citizens/heroes/generals/whatever of the game world to use (or not) at their own discretion; and that all we can do as players is make certain resources/training appealing to them so that they'l
In the spirit of helping the player base grow, here: DG-DVXW-KJKG-MVAB I have no gamer friends in real life. And my wife only plays LAN.
Luck is one of the reason Mario kart Wii annoys me.
Fireball is 1sec cast. everytyhing else hyperbole.
UB can kill himself with his AE Erubus can drink his own potion And they didn't take anything from you, you have to earn it first. You earn gold in this game by killing your enemy, or by helping one of your allies do it. You didn't do this.
It's been said that a game never becomes successful until the cheat community fully embraces it. So maybe it would be a good thing if they felt DG was worth thier time and effort.
Disturbation is my new favorite word.
Such is the pitfalls of playing with people you do not know. This isn't a fault of the game.
Alot of abuse from YOU maybe. Leave it as is. The best lessons are learned through defeat.
I don't know. But your handle, TheTrav, just made me wet myself. You could also email and ask them too.
If only I had friends to play D&D with.
I grew up in Southern California and had a friend with a dad that managed a 400 unit apartment complex. He claimed that he would listen to the scanner all night because it allowed him to find out when the cops were on thier way to his apartments as soon as there was trouble, instead of just finding out after the fact. In the five or so years I knew him he had two shootings, a couple stabbings, and many, many domestic disputes (among othere things). It wasn't until years later I f
