I don't remember for sure why my english teacher said 6-26 will be the "birthdate" of the anti-christ. Something about 26 meaning "two sixes." I guess it's to stop people from guessing the year and killing all babies born on a specific date in a specific year. As for the whole 12-21-2012 thing, it's not really an end of the world but more of a "major transformation." The Mayan calendar is based on the phases of the moon, which a comp

Nadeon: December 21st, 2012 AD to be exact. I'm surprised the end of the world crowd haven't started about 06-06-2006 or 06-26-2006. Why the 26th? Something a high school english teacher once said about June 26 being the supposed birthdate of the anti-christ.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you quit? Bored? Just curious, because I plan on starting. The only MMORPG experience I have is COH, which I quit around this time last year.

I just updated Stardock Central to 2.20.357 Build 103 and when I look at the Object Desktop programs I don't see the latest WindowBlinds version. It shows Windowblinds4 though. I have WindowBlinds5 installed using a previous version of Stardock Central, here's the info from the Troubleshooting section of WindowBlinds: WindowBlinds 5 BETA 2 Troubleshooting Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+ WindowBli

This should be interesting. In this corner we have Draginol the developer and owner of copyrighted software and in the other corner we have the anti-copyright group. Let's get ready to rrrrrrrrrrrrumble. Okay that was lame. We have an opportunity here to hear the opinion of a software developer on software copyrights and patents. This is a highly heated ongoing debate between IP owners and those who believe we all lose "knowledge" when a copyright is left to linger, but is n

IANAL. Wire tapping laws. You have the right to record your side of the conversation on your phone, but not the other side without their permission. Sounds to me like the judge did the right thing for the greater good. If this had been allowed it would have set a precedence, that would allow wire tapping on minors, in effect giving minors less rights. I knew someone that was going through a divorce and her husband tapped their phone lines to find out what his wife was saying. Her h

1. Fold, wad, front-to-back, back-to-front, just do whatever it takes. Just remember if you have a hairy ass check for dingle berries. 2. Down for me... when I bother to shave, which isn't until I'm itchy on the face. Or have your wife, girlfriend, SO do it for you. 3. Do you have red hair? If so you may never grow a mustache... unless you're one of the select few hairy red heads. Otherwise patience young one. 4. See Ryan Seacrest. 5. Wise girl once told me, "If you don

On point 6. Who's to say that if Bush wins they'll just go away demoralized? They may just try that much harder next time around. Either way, win or lose for Bush, they get stronger. The only difference would be that if Bush wins, they'll start to resort to "lower" tactics.

hitparade: sounds like you're using fear to persuade the elderly to vote for Bush. I realize that Kerry supporters are doing the same; though they're playing a different fear card. I'll probably "waste" my vote on a third party candidate, because I don't believe neither GW nor Kerry deserve to be president. We need a strong third party to give these "republicrats" a run for their money. (I know I'm dreaming, but one can hope) I wonder how many of the senior citizens you've

QingJao: That has been pointed out in one of the front page articles. As for commuting the executions. It seems GW never gave it more than 15 minutes thought. Messy: True. Point taken. I would think that to an openly religious man (GW), that death would be death. Some may say they're protecting the defenseless. Aren't convicted felons who are about to be executed made defenseless? And what makes that mental

I find it ironic that President Bush is anti-abortion (pro-life) when so many people were executed (sentenced to death) in Texas under his watch. What makes that convict any less deserving to llive than an unborn child? Here's some facts I googled. from http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/stat/drowfacts.htm When capital punishment was declared "cruel and u

"Be American buy American" I just love (loathe) that bumper sticker. Almost all Honda cars (if not all) are built in America. The last Honda car that was still built in Japan has stopped being produced; the Prelude (which I'm proud to say I drive one). Does this make me un-american? I bought from an american dealership, had an american dealer, get my car serviced by americans. Truth be told we live in a "global" economy, which last I knew Republicans are all for. So are

Like the above said; invest in a smoke detectors. Have one over the oven and if you have a fireplace put one in that room. Also don't put furniture near the fireplace. You don't need an oven to cook; if it's like Sims 1 you'll make salads. Or buy the microwave until your cooking skill gets high enough. Turn aging off, the cheat is even mentioned in the manual. If your sims are doing too much on their own turn off free will in the option

I just read this article at http://www.locusmag.com/2004/Features/09_ShirleySocialFuture.html and found it interesting that an article about the future had so many political answers. I'll quote a few directly from the article. NOTE: I do not agree or disagree with any of these quotes. I just found the answers interesting... and some amusing. “The biggest

I have no idea what the first thing is. I'm guessing it has to do with my distrust of "mega corporations." I didn't like the question on immigration . There was no answer that fit my attitude/opinion on immigration. I thought the "topless" question was funny. I live in New York where it's legal for women to go topless at public parks. At first some did, but after the novelty of it wore off you saw less and less of it. Granted t
