A few of these ideas dont really sound like 'mega events' as I understand the current mega events to be. A lot of the cosmic ones are more 'megary' (if thats even a word *feels silly*), but seem either OTT (a wave that destroys EVERY ship in the galaxy) or very small mega events like supernovai, which will only destroy one star system.
