I fixed my problem, GC2 installed no problems. If you have ZoneAlarm you must turn off Program Control. Thats it. If you have norton, mcaffee, etc, etc I would look for something similar.

I get the same problem, frozen install at the opening splash screen. "szAppName : GC2Launch.exe szAppVer : 0.0.0.0 szModName : hungapp szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000 " Thats the error code I get. Is it possible to download the game since I have a valid cd key?
