This fixed me up as well, looks like some of my BETA 3 ship builds would be to blame here. Started with a clean slate and voila, now to rebuild all the ships. I will have Tech Support close my ticket and give the possible solutions. Cheers!

I wonder if perhaps there is a common factor for the three of us. With any luck the other two will submit tickets as well, and you guys can zero in on it and blast it to atoms. Cheers!

Had a game with IronSir other than having my survey ship shot across the map and not having any luck in the short game things were progressing nicely in research. Unfortunately we hit T39 and froze solid, eventually CTD. Tried to restore the session from the last autosave and the previous autosave but both would not fire up both versions CTD. I will try again with 2 players and a minimal map to see if that helps. Good hunting!

Merry Christmas everyone! Being away from family the holidays gives me plenty of time for GalCiv3 testing is anyone up for some multiplayer? Nothing says Happy Holidays like turning your opponent into 1 credit worth of space junk. I will be monitoring my emails while I await a game. May as well get some single player in before the multiplayer game.

Yes, wouldn't it be great if the whole world actually followed through with 64 bit migration? Perhaps in another decade or so when they launch a 128 bit architecture, I means 64 bit architecture has only been around for what..? Since the mid 80's? Cheers!

Interesting, however I wasn't really going on about the software, rather the amount of work the end user has to do in order to submit a simple bug report. The process could be automated by Stardock right inside the game. Better yet a small memory resident utility that can submit the bug when a crash to desktop happens of perhaps a call to action. Just seems like they could cut the clutter out by automating some of these things like pulling the most recent save file, the computer s

At least I am not the only one wondering this. Although that being said more bug reports on the same thing might bump it up to the top of the priority list, very old school method of collecting information but I guess it does keep someone employed somewhere. Just seems inefficient from the outside looking in. Stardock is skilled at writing utility programs, so why not write a simple addon that runs separate from the GC3 and collects all the needed data and send all the bug info with a

I take the screenshots and chose to submit it to stardock directly via support desk. (which I had to create a separate account for by the way) They take a week to reply and then direct me to collect a bunch of information about my system and the different error logs and and save game files for them, when all the details they needed are in the screenshot. (I even edit the picture and type on it what the exact issue is so they are not looking for it) My question is, since

Perhaps I could put a price tag on the chosen design, that seemed to work for Stardock quite well. I couldn't offer what Stardock did but perhaps $100 for the chosen design? That would cover the cost of the founder's edition. I wonder if there are any shipyards out there itching to start designing ships again. Cheers!

Edladner: Quite right, I did see that mentioned a couple times here in the forum prior. That won't stop me from getting some ideas and recruiting some engineers to help me refine the idea. In the mean time...I'm off to try and break the game again! Cheers!

Hello I am hoping to find some ship engineers with some time to help a fellow conqueror. As a long time fan of the series I have enjoyed all the effort that goes into this game and the community is extremely devoted and first rate! While having played for many years I have never had the time to actually sit and design with the ship editor. Several friends and I have played tabletop strategy games such as StarFleet Battles for many years and I am hoping to help re-creat

Kryo I apologize for making you work like this on a Sunday. You were extremely patient and walked me through every step of my issue. The issue was a unique circumstance, I pray that none of you have to go through that as well. I think Kryo has a patch for the batch file to prevent this sort of thing from happening again! Cheers!

I agree with the logic 100% too, something is just not right with my install. (Its a clean install too, so odd) Should I PM you so we don't tie up the thread?
Thank you Kryo! I'll give that a shot I'll report back STAT!
Odd still not finding the files even I run the batch file as Admin. I'm using the original batch and everything looks identical to your screenshot. (minus the directories of course) mine are... C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II - Ultimate Edition\Twilight\Mods\KHSM-TA This is the directory I run it fro
