... that'd be it, but I never changed any of my options. Odd. But I just tried that and it did it again, changed it back and fixed.

Ah well, nothing a good reinstall can't fix. If I figure out how I did that I'll post the bug.

Its not zoom, or the view. I've done 1-5, always the same. The icon to the top left is one of my small defense craft, and targeted is my homeworld.

My zoom doesn't matter, I can zoom all the way in and they are still just symbols. I'll provide an image in a moment.

Whatever I did, it affects every new game as well. I see the suns in 3D just fine, but everything else turned into symbols. It seems like this should be something used when zoomed all the way out, but I can't find any way to change it back to 3D.

Any clue what I have done? And I just recently purchased the game, and I did look around the forums... but I have no clue how this even happened? One minute I saw them fine, next they were just a bunch of symbols. Read the manuel and didn't find any way to toggle 3D/2D, if thats what I did.

I haven't seen it at Walmart in my area, but I'll most likely get it through Stardock, but are you sure its the Collector's Version? From the store link I haven't seen any mentioning of it, only reason I'm hesitating to buy it. And not that I'm picky, but if ordered through Stardock, is it just the CD? Or does it come in that foil box, and all the other features that were included? I'd assume that would be Preorder only, but just curious.
