The best thing about civ 3 was the ability to mod every little detail. i want to mod this game but dont know how. where is the .exe file i need to click to launch modder? or is it even out yet?
I was trying to create a character threw the metaverse. but the problem is after i put in all info. it says "proccessing data" and that screen never moves. ive tried it twice before i said f**k it. but i wanna register a character. HELP.

Also. what does miniturization do? when i research miniturization i figured it would make me able to put more junk on my attack vessels. but all lazers shields, etc are the same size. help!
when i start up game there is an icon that says "manuel" how do i get that to work? when i click it. its just a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

I was thinking about doing this. but when i go to checkout the game. it asks me for my mailing address..... i dont want to order the game threw the mail. i want to download it. im hoping im searching the right place. stardocks=galciv2=checkout=ship me game? I think i just want to download it. since i dont have a instruction manuel to read.

I'm in to emense games like this to be extremly huge. i dont like to play turn based games and have them last only one day. To me, the fun is spreading the game over weeks/months. more in depth and fun IMO. Like Civ3 (drool) civ 4 sux btw.

actually im still fidgeting with it. yes it includes hit points. the simulaotor is right here on the site. check it out. its in metaverse. it still doesnt make much sense. ill give a good example with NO ERRORS. SHIP #1 - Attacking 8 beam- 8 shield. SHIP #2 - Defending 8 missle - 8 shield Ship#1 has NO defense for missles Ship#2 has equivilent shield to deflect beams. YET THIS BATTLE IS A STALEMATE!?!? someone tell me why both ships have 25 hit points.
Back again. still i think the simulator is a little messed up. defense of shield 6 attack mass driver 4. loses to a attack 8 beam def 8 beam?

Ok someone make sense of this. this is an outrage. im in the combat simulator just messig around. did you know that a attacking ship (6 attack with mass drivers, with 40 shield defense) will LOSE to a defending ship (8 attack with beam, 8 defense with shield) ..... WTF!!. it seems to me the different type of weapons you choose have NO effect on the outcome of the battle. simply put. ships have basic attack and defense ratings. the type of
What factors determine HP? hull size? shields? If so. how much hp does a small hull have? medium? large? etc? how much do shields ad?
Uhm i understand. but i must say. WHY? if your saving a game. you want to come back to the game EXACTLY the way you left it right? Im sure im not the only one who thinks this. no point in reseting the bars. you should fix this. i dont wanna write down where my bars were left at everytime i restart the game. cmon now. that makes no sense.
mounting 2 different kinds of weapons makes no sense? true you give them 2 chances to defend against your attack. but you also have the chance to be armed with a weapon(or 2) that they have NO defense for.... is this correct?
I do not have this game yet. i have to wait till my preorder comes in store tommorrow. but this is a VERY good question. if minor races are gonna play a major role. and be able to make alliances , then we should be able to allie with them, espionage, etc...
