I'm in the same boat as the original poster. Look at the forums. It is not a one off.

While noticing a major (I mean major) improvement, I am still suffering from memory leaks. Eventually sluggishness, loss of sound effects and already decreasing performance. Still, step in the right direction.
Build them in stacks. When creating a unit, click on the icons that change the amount in that unit (located just above unit description), that way, one stack has the combined HP of however many guys are in it.
Holy crap, a dev, CEO no less, admitting a boo boo and that the game has "issues." Like I have previously said, I see the potential. Maybe I did not waste my money after all.
I agree with the article. Ive effectively shelled out $100 AU to buy into a beta game. The first patch fixed bits and pieces and allowed me to see the potential of the game. But the memory leak, the seeming after thoughts just drag this game through the mud. I remember Master of Magic taking about 4 years to reach the stage it got too and becoming a classic, but that was over 15 years ago. That sort of crap should not happen now, especially when the template for the game is
Also copping the same error on a high end system.
It happened in MoO2. Say you landed 2 transports onto a planet, each carrying 4 soldiers (or groups of) and 3 of those groups died. You would have 5 left. 1 would stay planetside while the other 4 were left in orbit to move on. Same with Galciv 2. You invade with 8000 troops (4 Advanced Troop Modules on one ship, each module holding 1000 troops) and you lost 2000 in the attack. That means that 2000 are left planet side while the other transport remains in orbit loaded with troops. The
Is there any possible way to set the options and what not to default? I specifically ask because after trying a custom race in a game, the Terran Alliance no longer have any starting techs or proper racial traits. I've tried pressing clear but that doesn't bring back the missing techs. Is there anything that can be done? A file or something that retains such knowledge, if deleted refers to default? Anything?
It looks awesome. Can't wait. I've lurked awhile but I'll step out of the shadows for this one.
