I'm doing most of that stuff already, but I'm going to work on it! Sorry, don't mean to be preachy. I need to take my own advice too. I'm working on it too. I'm actually diagnosed with short term memory Short term memory huh? Wish the rest of us had one of those too.

maybe that is where they found the chicken Or maybe that's where the recipe was created. Maybe it's the name of the guy who runs it. "Hi, I'm Mr. Church. Come get some chicken." Ouch, I'd hate to think of KFC being called Col Sanders Fried Chicken. Then again I can't imagine someone (besides the cartoon character) being called Popeye either. Boy have we digressed on this thread! (le
Ok, I stopped reading the comments about half way through, but I'll just put in my two cents and if its already been covered, you can ignore me. I actually had this problem as a child. My mom took me to a doctor (which I would recommend just to rule that out) and that wasn't the problem. It didn't take long to break me of my bed wetting, but day time was still a problem. My reasoning was that I didn't want to stop what I was doing to go. One thing that my mom did was have me keep a cal
Locamama that necklace was awesome! We all need that reminder now and then. I'm tired of being tired. I'm tired of being forgetful. I'm tired. Just try to take care of yourself as best you can. Make sure you eat well, get a little exercise and sleep. Here are some tips to help you sleep better instead of taking meds: WWW Link
Then again, there are Christians who turn their noses up at this sort of 'mega-church', superior in their snobbery, deeming it too 'commercial.' Because we're afraid. It is easier to stick to tradition, including what the Christian should look like. I pray that a little of this kind of acceptance will seep through the whole of Christianity. There is definitely a culture of middle class/upper class churches. Unfortunately this culture
For me personally, any of the "comedy" Jim Carry movies. To me they are just disgusting. Well, except for maybe Bruce Almighty which was a little better. I also don't really like many of the "end of the world" movies(asteroid crashing in to earth, aliens taking over, volcanoes out of control, giant tidal waves ect.). They are so predictable.
I saw a study recently (sorry, I'm a bad person and can't remember exactly where or I would reference it) that said that people who do what they love are more likely to be successful (including money wise) than people who just go in to a career to make fast money. Don't let others get you down. As it has been pointed out, do your homework and know if it is really a viable field. As long as there is a job where you can support yourself, don't give up!
Congrats. Now matter what it is, milestones are always nice. I have the feeling that I will be in on the job training for the rest of my life too, especially if I keep changing grades every year!
Go out into the sun. Stretch your arms up to it and close your eyes, and drink in the warmth. Sounds silly, maybe, but it always helped me reconnect. That is great advice! It really does help. I feel the worst when I stay inside all day. Congrats on the job Thanks. And don't worry about readership... Well, I really haven't been around long enough t
Wow Ock, that was really useful stuff! Thank you so much for sharing. And I am totally stoked that you read my blog AND don't want to navigate away from it. Being new here there is a lot I don't understand. Why are things different when you enter from the forums as opposed to the individual blogs? I have noticed that the comments are much easier to read and make when coming in f
I like those two that you posted. I don't know enough to have a professional opinion, but they look good. I like the angles and the expressions your captured. You're right about the lighting though, it probably needs a little more. But I also like the dramatic feel when it looks like they are just suspended in space without anything around them.
Everyone needs to learn a little more personal responsibility. Being naive about politics as I am, I'm not really sure what liberals etc have to do with it. The general state of the economy obviously effects our personal finances, but ultimately the day to day decision are up to us. Do we go in to debt to have the better clothes, nicer furniture etc or do we deal with what we have and save for more important things?
Too bad I'm married. Else I'd be proposing to you right now. I love this article. Ditto PS - Return to Me is one of my favorite movies ever. That is "our" movie for me and my husband. It was one of the first "chick flicks" that we watched together and both truly enjoyed and were inspired by. And it seems like it's easy to get lost in a fantasy world where women are wi
You guys are hilarious!! I love reading your interactions. Don't really have anything constructive to add since I know nothing about tattoos...except you guys have almost convinced me to think about wanting one.
Yeah, I didn't really know what to say because I had no idea who these guys are or why the liberals don't want me to see them...
Sensationalism is the umpteenth story on Paris Hilton in jail, or a circus reporting Michael Vick pleading not guilty at an arraignment. AMEN! Who cares about Paris Hilton anyway!?
Wow. That one was really good.
You are funny. But you are right too. It is a scary balance that they too often tip too far one way, but there is definitely something to be said for all we learn through the news etc.
Update: Not that anyone is reading this... but I got a job. Not all the details are worked out, but it is a big leap forward!
Big questions, straniera, and while they're honestly asked, it's not a topic I care to get into here because in my opinion, debating anything of this nature with Christians is a waste of time, yours and mine both. Thank you for being respectful and courteous. I look forward to getting to know you further. how'd he learn not only to write, but to emboss?? so where did he attend scho
Depression 5.Psychiatry. a condition of general emotional dejection and withdrawal; sadness greater and more prolonged than that warranted by any objective reason. Compare CLINICAL DEPRESSION. Clinical Depression Psychiatry. a depression so severe as to be considered abnormal, either because of no obvious environmental causes,
Thanks Little-whip for the other article reference. It does put a slightly different spin on things. If the family was insisting that the objectionable photos be on display at the funeral, that would obviously put the church in a bind and it is understandable that they would back out. In the first article the family claimed that the church knew from the outset about Sinclair practicing homosexuality, this article seems to give more evidence that this was not the case. <div cl
unless human beings today differ greatly from those of our ancestors living in isreal roughly 2000 years ago, it seems likely 10% of jesus' audiences might have been gay--thus giving him plenty of opportunity to reach out, condemn or acknowledge them however he chose to do so. by all four accounts, he had no problem offering an opinion on a variety of important issues. none of those had to do with homosexuality. divorce is a whole other story. (yet most christ
self-important and narcissistic to convince ourselves that any omnescient, omnipresent, infinite and eternal Deity worth recognizing, let alone worshipping, gives a single hair on a rat's ass who we screw. Why? If he made us, why shouldn't he care about us? If he cares about us, wouldn't he care that we do what is best for us?
20 years old at the time of the 9-11 attack on America ~I remember this one, was on my way to a college class 18 years old on the first day of Y2K ~ remember this too and never understood why it was such a big deal... 16 years old when Princess Diana was killed in a car crash ~ Mom woke me up that Sunday to tell me what happened and I was like "Who is Princess Di?" 13 years old at the time of Oklahoma City bombing ~ Don't really remember, but later lived in OKC and learned about it<b
