When I was playing earlier, there was one thing I kept trying to do: To switch to a different city while in the build menu. I know it's a minor thing, but perhaps I'm too used to such a feature in Civ IV. It would be pretty handy to use the unit selector system in the top left to switch between cities while in the build menu, instead of having to click done, select the city, then click the build button again.

Got the Rescue Knight quest come up, and the cave spawed directly next to a city. Any units leaving the city immediately engaged in combat (not sure if this is intended behavior), leading to unexpected losses. Once I freed the Knight, I couldn't complete the quest; the Knight wouldn't 'return' to the city. He'd just enter and sit in the garrison.

I'm getting a minor graphical glitch. The backdrops for units in the unit creator, or for the sovereign, are not scaled to fill the window. Instead they're in the top left, taking up about 70% of the window, with the rest of it filled black. Graphics Card: ATI X1950PRO, latest Legacy Drivers. Ati is no longer updating them, although the card is dx9.0c compliant as far as I know. (Unfortunately this bug report doesn't come from my main PC, on which the backdrops are drawn

Thanks for that. dem_loc_update.exe fixed it for me. Wish I'd know about that simple fix beforehand before trying to re-install (which did nothing). I'm getting the same issue, voices seem to be completely random. Not sure if it's bad data, or something else. Specs: Windows 7 64-bit, ATI HD4850, P4D E5400 I'm even getting sounds playing for some sort of Capture-The-Flag mode, which looks like something that was cut from the game before it was released.

Hello there. I'm having a minor problem with Demigod. The game runs fine and graphically is perfect, but the voices of all the characters that speak are incorrect, with most of the voices switching to be Sedna's. Even the voice-over of the intro is incorrect, which is simply Regulus' 'This would be faster with wings' shout. Unfortunately, I wish I could say it was some corruption or other, but I redownloaded the game and the voices are incorrect in exactly the same way.

I reported this in one of the feedback threads for Beta 3, but I don't think it was picked up. Maybe it needs a thread on it's own. The problem is simple, if you pick a res/refresh rate that your monitor can't handle (but your video card can) you get stuck with a black screen, with no way of reverting in-game. You have to go and edit your user.settings file. The solution is one of the usual 'Click here in 15 seconds or I change back to the previous res' dialog boxes. <

Good work so far. Games seem to play out fairly nicely. + I've never ever had the AI accept my proposals. It's usually a case of wait till they offer one; or you don't get anything. + If you change to a res unsupported by your monitor, Sins will apply it and save the settings immediately without a countdown; more or less dooming you to a blank screen until you edit the settings files manually. + Krosov bombs seem to be ineffective after the ship that launched them is k

Cosmetic bug this. When you've just arrived at a new system, and mouse-over the unexplored planets, the tooltip says: ? Planet has not been explored. -1 jump from your home planet.

I've been trying the game on two different systems. On my newest system, which is a Core2 with X1950Pro Sins runs smoothly, slowdown is very rare (but in odd places.. ie. not in battles or things). My older system, a AthlonXP1800+ with 512MB Ram, Geforce6600LE, seems to struggle with big battles or when there's multiple highly developed players. This is on the lowest graphics; but it is still just about playable. Not yet tried it on my laptop; might do so when I can find some s

All of the above =D! But especially, the sound and music are already top-notch. Don't change these. (except maybe for adding more of the same). And the Modability already has potential too!

I have noticed that once a planet is bombed and taken over; the previous owner's structures remain. Me and an AI created a rather strong chokepoint as follows; I'd bombed and taken his planet, but left his turrets. He offered a ceasefire while I built my own turrets/tactical structires. Our alliance grew stronger and I maxed out my tactical structures while, as far as I could see, his structures were still there and working fine too; all in all giving us extra tactical points worth of s

If you have a craft capable of carrying fighters or bombers, and set it to auto-attack within weapon range (not tried it for local area); the fighters and bombers don't seem to respond to commands; if you tell them to attack, they just turn to face the target but remain next to the carrier. As soon as I set the attack range to 'Gravity well' they moved in to attack. Bug? Or am I doing something strange myself.

So.. do repair platforms repair stuff in their radius, or the whole gravity well? one of the tool tips says 'Repairs Freindly ships near the planet' ...

Hi. Just like to say that Sins is looking very impressive at the moment. Here is some of the feedback I have after a few hours play. Don't think any of these have been mentioned... and they are just my opinion so far. 1. The Repair Platform's descriptions are confusing. It's tool tips says 'Mustn't be self and have hull damage', which for a while I read as it meaning that the platform must have damage to work. Something like 'Cannot repair itself, and it's target must have hull damage'

There is some incompatibility with windowblinds and GTK. I'm not sure which side causes the error (gtk or WB), so I'll post it here for information anyways.. (and sorry if this is already documented.) Basically, if any change in settings is applied in windowblinds, GTK applications (OpenOffice, Inkscape, Gaim etc..) will often lock up. Sometimes the lockup stops after a few minutes, sometimes it's permanant and the programs need to be closed

The remote connection program built into windows XP. I have however resolved the situation by reinstalling WB on the target PC.

Great work on WB5, especially the per-pixel support for skins! Just found a couple of bugs, sorry if they've been posted before. 1: Remote connecting to a computer that is using per-pixel skins with a computer that doesn't support them results in graphical glitches, lots of black squares, and general slowness. 2: This one is only very minor: Say you have a large Quick-Start menu and the >> button appears to show the oth
